TX has no state income tax. If you live in TX you only file a federal return. (unless you also earned some income in another state while living in TX)
And....retirement income is taxable on federal tax returns.
To enter your retirement income, Go to Federal> Wages and Income>Retirement Plans and Social Security>IRA 401 k) Pension Plan Withdrawals to enter your 1099R.
Texas does not have an income tax, so it would be nontaxable in the state.
