How do I move forward if it is asking for a Distribution Code under Box 7 but there are none showing on the 1099-R?

I am completing the info for a 1099-R and it wants a distribution code for Box 7 but there are none showing on my 1099-R. How do I reset it so the requirement to complete goes away?

Are you sure?  The most common code is a 7, the same as the box #.  Ask the issuer if you can't find the code.  It is very important to enter the code.  You have to have one.
