I received benefits from a defined benefit pension plan. These plans do not have an RMD. TurboTax keeps asking about an RMD. How do I get around this?

I received benefits from a defined benefit pension plan. These plans do not have an RMD. TurboTax keeps asking about an RMD. How do I get around this?

Any ordinary distribution calculated by the pension administrator counts as an RMD. Just enter Yes and the total amount of the distribution as the RMD.
