How do I change language preference? for some reason it check marked some other language instead of English

You will find that entry at the bottom of the Personal Info section on the first page. You may need to edit every section until it appears.

Also, if it's already in Spanish, please view the screenshot posted above by DaraLO and see if that helps you to get it changed. If not, please respond back here and let us know.

Are you asking about what language TurboTax is in, or what language the IRS will communicate with you in?

The answers above address the TurboTax language. If you want to change the language that the IRS communicates with you in, go back to Personal Info and edit the information about yourself. On a screen "Do any of these apply to [name]?", look closely, because there should be a check box for "Would like to change the language used by the IRS..."
