i was told in a TT chat yesterday that it would be fixed today (1/31) and it's not. so i don't believe them when they say by friday... just FYI to everyone waiting.
That means it will be available with the 1/31/24 update which happens at night. It should be available tomorrow.
I just filed for $15 with Free Tax USA and requested a refund at: refundrequest.intuit.com
It's obvious they just keep extending when they think this will be fixed so people don't go and do the same. I also had a bug issue with their system last year that didn't affect as many people, and I ended up not being able to file until March, after checking back again and again.
HOW MUCH LONGER TURBO TAX? I WANT TO TURN IN MY RETURN TO GET THE MONEY IN THE BANK.

I am by no means a tax expert, so I cannot answer your question, unfortunately.
If you were able to file, then you shouldn’t have anything to worry about either way I would assume, I just got tired of TT not taking care of this expeditiously and not being able to file due to my IRA so went there.

just spoke with the live agent. form will be released today and should be able to file tomorrow or very very soon! hope this helps!!

Sounds like they are just giving us the run around. Makes me super considering I already PAID!
yes i think most of the people upset about this issue have already paid and now feel stuck in limbo 😕
Also curious on who you used, I want to file my taxes asap and this error is setting me back.
I am still having this issue. Does anyone know when it will be resolved? I don't want to mail in my return, E-File is always easier..but if I have to wait a month or two it may not be worth it. Can someone give me some insight? Thanks
Please check forms availability here. Select online, Windows, or Macintosh from the drop down menu. Whenever the federal and states change a form, we have to as well. This happens throughout tax season.
I just spent 45 minutes on hold and speaking with customer service. I was hung up on and eventually got ahold of a supervisor. She refused to refund me. I was also denied through their refund request process. I’m upset obviously and was told that I shouldn’t be. Also they are recording the call but when I told them I was recording, she didn’t give her permission. What a joke! I just want a refund so I can go to another tax service. I will never use TT again.
