Can I correct the 2014 return I just finished on TT but did not file it with IRS. I found another expense to add to my rental expenses.

I know I'm late filing but IRS owes me a refund.  I don't need to file an amended one since I have not mailed it to the IRS.

Did you use the Desktop installed program?  Then yes, just print and mail it.  You can go back and make any changes before you file it.

Yes it is a CD of TT.  I tried to change the figure under legal fees but it doesn't change even Schedule E.  It acts like I filed it and won't let me change it.  I did print it, that how I found the error.
