Having same problem. Says transfer successful, but then just goes back in circle to continue leading to same requests and outcome
i got it to work on my surface pro 11 desktop TT.
1- select fidelity in tt ( not net benefits)
2- have it open intuit login screen
3- screen resolution settings at 100% and no extended screens critical here
4- login to intuit
5- it will guide you to opening a browser screen (i used edge but not sure if it matters here)
6-fidelity pops up, enter your credentials.
7-download confirms
8- check to see if correct.
thanks to all fir your comments
Your experience matches mine except step 8 where TT gave an error saying the 1099-B could not be imported. This whole fiasco is a (bad) joke. Taxes are bad enough without having to deal with recalcitrant software!
This is the same issue I'm having! I tried reducing the screen resolution to 100% and display resolution to 1280 and 800. Nothing works. I keep getting the Intuit login screen, but am unable to enter in a user name or password. The boxes are greyed out. I reinstalled Edge on a Windows 11 PC, deleted the cache and cookies. Nothing works.
If you are unable to import the 1099, it would be best to click here and give us a call so we can look into this further.
I have now called TurboTax customer service. The customer service rep basically said that she has been getting a lot of calls about Fidelity imports, but did not have a solution.
There are a couple of things you can try. Can you try the steps provided below to see if that resolves your issue:
You can also try using a different web browser. Some of these steps have worked for other individuals.
You can also check here to see if any of these resolutions work for you.
No! That does not work! Has turbo tax made any changes to fix the problem?
They are working on a few things. If you are unable to import them, it is best to manually enter the 1099 into the return. @Mmm12
And then I’m sure turbo tax will return my purchase price!
my 1099 is over 200 pages...SO.. manually entering them is NOT an option!
The only reason I bought turbo tax is for this reason. If I was able to manually enter this info, I would not need turbo tax!
I was told this would be fixed by 3/3/23 but it is not! Has TT made any improvements to the program?
Can you use the FAQ link provided below and check out the response by db9fan and let us know if this resolves your issue:
No it does not. Not applicable to my issue on inability to download Fidelity 1099 info which still does not work
We are not even talking about the same problem!! I cannot import any fidelity data!
