I am receiving a message to contact Support for a refund because the software will not import my financial transactions from ETrade since they are > 3,000.
I have never experienced this before. I have used TT for 15+ years.
1) How should I handle filing my DIV, Cap Gains, etc? Can I enter the Summary level info and mail in the actual trade transaction history?
2) Does TT offer a more robust software option to import the full file?
3) How do I get a refund?
Thanks.

If import does not go smooth, I will suggest to manually enter info. There are a limit on how many import transactions TurboTax can handle. See blue links below. If there are too many transactions, you may try to sum up transactions between long term and short term and manually enter and amounts in summary. Here are the steps:

If you sold your stocks and bonds transactions during the year, the program will generate either a long term or short term capital gain or loss depends on how long the stocks are being held. The amount will be reported on line 7 of your Form 1040 along with a Schedule D and Form 8949.
