IT HAS NOT BEEN FIXED
Thank you for the link! I wasted over 3 hours today ... working with Chase and Turbotax neither were helpful. I was about to jump ship until I saw your post!
Yes, same here, both Chase and BofA, what is UP>...?? Also, the dialog in the screen on TurboTax at this point reads.. "If you are having trouble logging in or do not know your Online ID/Password...Please Click..." ....Then Nothing To Click...? Seems to be the page is not complete. So the TurboTax 2020 Software has some rough edges and was rushed out with this glitch and other errors throughout. Would like to finish my taxes but seems Intuit needs to sort out some BUGS..!!
If import does not go smooth, I will suggest to manually enter info. For import, there is a limit on how many transactions TurboTax can handle. See blue links below. If there are too many transactions, you may try to sum up between long term and short term. Here are the steps:
In TurboTax online,

You would receive a Form 1099-B if you have sold your stocks and bonds transactions during the year. The transactions will generate either a long term or short term capital gain or loss depends on how long the stocks are being held. The amount will be reported on line 7 of your Form 1040 along with a Schedule D and Form 8949.
First timer, won't accept my bank at all and then I have to keep going back and forth and back and forth I can't go any further I've been doing this now for over an hour and can't get past my interest from the bank. What is the problem did yours get solved?
Don't enter the bank name and don't try to import it. It is just as fast and easy to manually enter it. At the bottom pick Change How I enter my Form
Then on the next screen pick I'll Type it in Myself
Unfortunately, it was never resolved and Intuit is either too lazy or incompetent to fix it. Volvo girl is right, the interest is an easy form to type in yourself, since it does not have much information to input. The point she is missing is that we shouldn't have to do so, especially when that has been a feature since 2013.
At this point the best advice is to manually input the interest information yourself and import any Investments as that still works, for this year at least.
Using turbotax 2020 for mac - Having issues with Chase Bank (JPM) import and wells fargo.
After 2 step auth I get this error
This import was unsuccessful.
No problem - we'll help you enter the information and continue with your return.
You may need to enter manually at this point.
You can securely import your 1099-B, 1099-DIV, 1099-INT, 1099-OID, or 1099-R into TurboTax if your broker or financial institution is on our list of TurboTax Import Partners. If they're not, you can upload your form from your computer or type it in yourself.
Here's how to import:
Tip: Be sure to select the right financial institution or brokerage from the list. For example, several participating partners' names start with First National Bank and if you select the wrong First National Bank, you won't be able to import.
You can import up to 1,500 transactions from your financial institution in TurboTax Online.

Years later and it still does not work. And they keep suggesting "enter manually".
I believe at this stage they just need to add to description "cannot and never will be able to import from Chase bank" so people could decide whether they still want to pay.
Attempts for a total of 5 days!!
At times the change is initially successful, but trying to login the new password does not work.
This process needs to be updated
Chase Investments is not even an option this year and I cannot import any of my 1099-DIV information from Chase. The only option for Chase is Chase Bank. Turbo tax is very frustrating this year. (2021)
A 1099DIV should be easier to manually enter.
Don't enter the bank or broker name and don't try to import it.
It is just as fast and easy to manually enter it. When you enter a 1099 the first screen is How to Enter, by Import or Enter it Myself. Scroll down and click the last circle to enter it myself.
I entered it manually once and will never do it again. 15 pages if information. I have never had trouble importing from Chase Investments prior to this year.
Huh? You only need to enter the totals for interest and dividends. Not the individual stocks or funds. There should be a summary page or totals at the end.
