What I mean is you don't adjust the loss in the Net Operating loss Worksheet. Column B on the bottom of the worksheet "Deduction allowed in Current Year" is based on your taxable income in line 28 of Form 1120. That number is populated by the program to result in no more than 80% of your income being absorbed by the loss carryover.

The desktop version of TurboTax can be used to file as many as five returns using one download with the license code.  Unfortunately, a TurboTax online account is limited to one tax return per year, so the confirmation code that you received from Amazon will only work for the one return that you've already filed.

I am unable to find the Form 1099-PATR in Turbotax Home & Business Desktop Edition.  It is not located when searching within the Forms section of the software (vs. step-by-step instructions) section.  When attempting to search in the online help, the prompt questions only take you as far as trying to find the forms in a list online and it is not listed in this list.
You will need to contact the office at (703) 520-0333or you can schedule an appointment with Neil.

I am working with a desktop version of Turbo Tax for Windows 11. The screen in your reply only comes up if you are connected to the internet. If your desktop is not connected to the internet you don’t see the garbage pail to delete entries or any of the other editing tools. That is why I am encountering this problem. I don’t understand why the full functionality of the software requires an active internet connection. Intuit should make users aware of this bug.

Thanks, I'm trying to fill it out this way.   I'm now running into another issue where turbotax is recognizing my scholarships as other income as well on a separate page of city taxes. By allowing turbotax to label my scholarship as income as an employer, the total taxable income that I'm seeing should be correct. However on another page titled "East Lansing Excludable Other Income", this is what it says:    If any of your total other income of (scholarship amount) is not taxable by East Lansing, enter the source of the other income, the tax ID of the payer (if applicable) and the nature of the income.   Source of income: blank Tax ID Number: blank Nature of Income: blank Excludable Amount: (scholarship amount automatically put in by turbotax)   I can't remove this number, and setting it to 0 just adds that total to my total taxable wages increasing it over what it should be, basically adding my scholarship amount twice to my total taxable wages as it used it from the employment screen and now this one.
I receive an alert stating that the first 3 characters must be entered. I AM putting in the entire number, but the result is the same .
Right,  no 1099 because her total in payments did not exceed the $20K threshold for Venmo to issue a 1099.

There must be a form you need for your return this year that requires a paid version of TurboTax to complete the return.
I do not know how to determine all of my contributions to my Roth since 2006. How do I answer this question?
