Use an Incognito (Private) Window: This is the most effective "quick fix" because it launches the browser without any saved history or extensions that often interfere with tax forms
Check Pop-up Blockers. Look at the right side of your address bar for a small icon with a "red X"—click it and select "Always allow pop-ups from Intuit."
Restart the Browser: Close all open windows of your browser entirely and then reopen it.
Use a different Browser
If this does not resolve your issue, please let us know where in the return you are getting the error message.

Hi, As usual, ESPP(covered) cost basis is not correct from the brokerage page. I have chosen the below options: - Short-term basis reported to IRS(covered) - Rest of description, dates and $ amounts - Finally, chose "The cost basis is incorrect or mission on my 1099B" box - Next page, chose the "I found the my adjusted cost basis" to enter correct amount and then continue However, this didn't fix the cost basis in summary page where it shows all stock transactions. cost basis for this transaction is still the wrong from 1099-B. What is the issue since I have seen only this year? Thanks Ozzy

Except that Intuit absolutely didn't notify all their customers. I've had an Intuit account for years and have used TT for my taxes for over 20 years. I received no notification whatsoever, and the description on Amazon (where I downloaded this year's version) made no mention of this decreased functionality. I just arrived at the "entering charitable donations" part of my taxes and I'm now looking at hours of extra work.

I've been advised that the section of TurboTax that supports CSV files is in the process of being updated but is currently unavailable. The update may be coming in about a week. Check TurboTax on Friday, March 20th (make sure your TurboTax program has the latest updates).
This help article which explains the process of uploading CSV files is supposed to also be revised right away when the update process is completed.

If you've sold all (or some) of your shares of your S corporation, you'll start by entering this in the same K-1 income screens you enter for this business yearly. During the questions about your S corp K-1, the software will ask this question (see below) answer yes and select Continue:
(This means your share in the S corp ended, not necessarily the entire business itself, fyi.)
On the following screen, answer "[x] I sold it outright (complete disposition)" if you sold all your S corp shares:
Select Continue, and answer all questions RE: proceeds, expenses, original purchase date, and basis, of your S corp stock sale. At the end, you should be prompted to attach Form 7203, which is required if disposing S corp stock.
If you have a partial sale of S corp stock, follow the above steps, but answer "[x] I sold it and am receiving payments" to enter details for a partial disposition:

I have the same issue and the same hesitation. I even saw others' feedback elsewhere that says after they filed the extension, they are not able to efile their taxes! Why doesn't it say "transmit your extension filing"? This is not the return and there's no reason for TurboTax to detect that the return is ready to submit as the AI chatbot suggests. It's nearly blank! I will go elsewhere before I use it like this!

Did you e-file your tax return and was it accepted? Only the IRS and your State control when and if a Federal or State tax refund is Approved and Issued.
You complete your tax return by finishing all 3 Steps in the File section. In Step 3, to e-file your tax return, you must click on the large button labeled "Transmit my returns now".
After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.
Note - Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund. Only the taxpayer listed on the tax return can obtain the status of a tax refund or a tax return.
To check the status of an e-filed return, open up your desktop product or log into your TurboTax Online Account. You can find your status within the TurboTax product. If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status - https://www.irs.gov/refunds
If accepted by the state use this TurboTax support FAQ to check the state tax refund status - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/track-state-refund/L3jgO8PGs_...
After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.
