Sounds like something got stuck. You can try these things:
Log Out Completely: Before doing anything else, click Sign Out in the TurboTax menu.
Clear Cache and Cookies: This removes old, "corrupted" data that might be confusing the website.
Use an Incognito (Private) Window: This is the most effective "quick fix" because it launches the browser without any saved history or extensions (like AdBlockers) that often interfere with tax forms.
Check Pop-up Blockers: TurboTax often opens forms (like the 1099 PDF) or payment windows in a separate pop-up. Look at the right side of your address bar for a small icon with a "red X"—click it and select "Always allow pop-ups from Intuit."
Restart the Browser: Close all open windows of your browser entirely and then reopen it.
Most TurboTax errors happen because the browser is trying to use an old "session" from a previous visit. By clearing the cache or using Incognito mode, you force the browser to establish a brand-new, secure connection with the Intuit servers.

In TurboTax Desktop Deluxe, while you are working on one tax return, if you click the 'File' button on the top left you can click on 'New Tax Return' if you would like to start a new return or 'Open Tax Return' if you would like to open another tax return that you have already started in this year's program.
That way you can switch back and forth between as many tax returns as you are working on.

Update the message "Depreciation and Amortization will be ready by February, but likely sooner" to a more accurate notification. FreeTaxUSA has been ready for weeks.

We'd love to help you complete your tax return, but need more information. In what area are you having this issue? Is there a particular error message you are receiving?

Thanks. I understand that but I'm a new TX resident so I've never seen a W2 from TX employer. I was saying it confused me because when I manually filled out my W2 entries in Turbotax desktop software, I typed them in exactly as I saw them on paper W2. Turbotax flagged it (need employer's ID but there's none). After further searching and reading, I removed all entries from 15 thru 17 to stop the error flagging. The employer should've just left box 15 thru 17 empty and stop confusing their employees especially those who just moved to a state where there is no state income tax. I'm used to seeing state income tax in CA. This is my first time preparing income tax as TX resident.

Only the IRS and your State control when and if a Federal or State tax refund is Approved and Issued. TurboTax can only give estimates based on the IRS past performance on issuing tax refunds.
Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund.
If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status - https://www.irs.gov/refunds
If accepted by the state use this TurboTax support FAQ to check the state tax refund status - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/track-state-refund/L3jgO8PGs_...
After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.

If you are having issues importing your tax documents from your financial institution or brokerage account, you might want try these other options:
Upload: you have to enter into your financial institution account and download the documents in your computer, then upload it into the system.
Snap a photo: You will need the physical documents in your hands and take a picture of them.
Type it yourself: This may not be the best option if you have a lot of transactions and/or documents. But, it is still an option.
