Yup, got an update today to the Turbotax Business 2025 software, but the deprecation form error persists.  I'm guess it won't be fixed until next Friday.

Since the value is exactly 3945, which is definitely less than or equal to 3945, my hunch is that the issue is in rounding. Revisit your entries for DE taxes paid/withheld on W-2 and other sources as you did before, and try re-typing the numbers as their rounded whole number value, without any decimal values on the end (assuming that these have both dollars and cents i.e. $00.00, re-enter as just $00)    Changing this input from the W-2 will not cause problems for reporting. The IRS does not accept decimal values anyway, and will expect the final totals on your tax return to be rounded by the tax software regardless.
Yes.  You can remove your (ex) spouse the year the divorce was finalized.

You can't enter those room and board expenses yet. This is a known glitch in TurboTax (TT). They are working on it (no announced fix date).   The 2025 education and 529 sections appear totally redesigned, from last year.    The 1099-Q is  only an informational document. The numbers on it are not required to be entered onto your (or your student's) tax return. The interview is complicated and it's easy to make mistakes. Avoid it if you can and you probably can.  You can just not report the 1099-Q, at all, if your student-beneficiary has sufficient educational expenses, including room & board (even if he lives at home) to cover the distribution. When the box 1 amount on form 1099-Q is fully covered by expenses, TurboTax will enter nothing about the 1099-Q on the actual tax forms. But, it will prepare a 1099-Q worksheet for your records (you don’t need it). You would still have to do the math to see if there were enough expenses left over for you to claim the tuition credit. You also cannot count expenses that were paid by tax free scholarships. References: On form 1099-Q, instructions to the recipient reads: "Nontaxable distributions from CESAs and QTPs are not required to be reported on your income tax return. You must determine the taxability of any distribution."  IRS Pub 970 states: “Generally, distributions are tax free if they aren't more than the beneficiary's AQEE for the year. Don't report tax-free distributions (including qualifying rollovers) on your tax return”. "IRS Publication 970, Tax Benefits for Education states: If the entire 1099-Q went to qualified expenses, room and board, tuition, etc; then, you do not need to enter the form."

When manually entering IRA income from brokerage's 1099-R, I get the message "Amount donated shouldn't be greater than Total Distribution" (aka RMD); I agree.  However, it appears the program does not allow for a QCD to be larger than the Gross (aka Normal) Distribution.  I verified the data is correct.  If I enter the QCD amount to be equal to the Gross amount the error message disappears.  Am I the only person having this problem??     Am using TurboTax 2025 Premier Desktop (Win11) with today's latest update.  My apologies if I am posting this incorrectly.

I am entering the information manually and there is no other entry to deduct state taxes.

If you are getting an error message when entering your 1098-T form and you copied and pasted some of the information, it's possible extra spaces or hidden formatting may be causing the problem. Make sure there are no extra spaces before or after the entries.    To fix this, you will need to delete the Form completely and enter it again, making sure the information is correct the first time. To delete the Form, when the program asks if you have it, you will have to answer Yes.  Then, click Delete when you see the Form that you have already entered. Press Add Another button, and re- enter your 1098-T Form.  To see more instructions, go through the link below:   Where do I enter Form 1098-T (Tuition Statement)?
