Someone already reported (about two weeks ago) that Add Investment brings up a blank screen. The posted fix does not work...or is not an option since when I load turbo tax I need to be in amend my return and there is no left menu option there. Turbo tax also doesn't recognize my return unless I click on the saved return file. So the amounts that show up as refund or owed are $0 until I click the file. Then after I select amend my return numbers sometimes go back to $0 and sometimes they show correctly. The amend procedure is pulling the investments but won't let me add another. Please do not suggest using the import option since (1) I never get that option and (2) if I did I still wouldn't use it. I'm on desktop version

The passive loss from Schedule K-1 Box 2 should appear on Schedule E page 2 Line 28 column (g), which flows to Schedule 1 (Form 1040) Line 5. The interest income from Box 5 should appear on Schedule B Part I Line 1, which flows to Form 1040 Line 2(b).
How the passive loss is handled depends on other passive income/losses (including carryovers) that are also reported on your return. Schedule E page 1 should allow you to trace the flow of passive income from various sources to Form 1040.
You may combine Statement A for pass-through entities owned by the Schedule K-1 investment. Note that the QBI income from these sources may or may not be used on your return. Review Form 8995 for the calculation of Qualified Business Income (if any) included on your return.

If he is not a dependent then he should not be listed on your return at all---you need to go to MY INFO and delete him. But, if you already e-filed and used his SSN on your tax return, he cannot e-file. He will have to print, sign and mail his own return. Or he can try to get an IP Pin and try to e-file. Waiting for your amended return to be processed will not help him at all.
GET IP pin in order to e-file if your dependent’s SSN was claimed on another return

It is possible that you have been a household employee---depending on how much you were paid and if all of the work was done in the people's home. If you have been a household employee---the employer was supposed to issue a W-2 to you and withhold Social Security and Medicare.
So...before you comply with their request--determine if you were a household employee--maybe they are the ones who need to change what they did about the way you were paid.
