Yes, extra withholding from your pay check will be considered as paid evenly throughout the year regardless of when it was withheld.
Yes, that is sufficient. If you feel confident in the annual amount entered when using the 2025 estimated calculation you should be good unless you have an unexpected sizeable increase at some point in the tax year. If so, consider that when making an estimated payment for that specific period.

All of the options outlined by @KrisD15 are valid and useful depending upon the facts and circumstances within a tax return.
In your case, will these revenue streams all flow to a self-employment activity reported on your 1040 income tax return on Schedule C Profit and Loss From Business?
If so, what will be the total revenue reported in the self-employment activity? If the total revenue to be reported will be $120,000, then, within the self-employment activity you might enter:
the IRS form 1099-NEC for $54,441,
the IRS form 1099-K for $15,076, and
the IRS form 1099-K for $40,716
Then you could report the difference under Other self-employed income, includes cash and checks. See here.
If the total revenue to be reported within the self-employment activity is less than the total of the three IRS forms listed above, you may establish an Other miscellaneous expense to report the difference.
So, if the three IRS forms listed above total $110,233 and the self-employment revenue that should be reported is $110,000, you may establish an Other miscellaneous expense to report the difference of $233.
In either case, you have acknowledged the IRS forms and correctly reported your 2024 income.

Final Outcome on EFile Rejection I hope TurboTax will take note of: I contacted the IRS yesterday & only had a 1 minute hold. She looked into both our SS #'s for a 2024 return and our numbers used for a dependent and found nothing. She suggestd just to do the efile on the IRS website and if that didn't work to mail it in. So I would say it was a glitch, perhaps I hit the efile button too long and it transmitted wrong or our fiber optics internet service can sometimes flick on & off quickly or Turbo had so many online the glitch happened to others as well. Again thanks for the community's response as the only email I received from Turbo said I wouldn't get a refund after efile is clicked they have done there service. But it's not the paper service I was signing up for it is to efile. So I won't be back for future returns.

If you are referring to the Illinois 529 plan contributions, you can find it by going through your Illinois return and looking for the screen titled, 'Here's the income that Illinois handles differently'. On that screen, scroll to the Education section and click Start beside College savings and prepaid tuition plan contributions to enter your information.
If you need help with a different state, please reply.

You can pay directly via the IRS website which is the recommended way or you can pay by check. Be sure to include your SSN on your check and the tax year.

Did you receive a 1099 NEC or 1099-MISC for it? If so, then after you enter the 1099, you will need to select that this is either not earned as an employee or self-employed if you received a 1099-NEC. If you received a 1099-Misc, then you will select that it did not involve an intent to earn money. This will keep it from being taxed as self-employment income.

Turbo Tax is VERY deceptive. The outside package that I purchased reads Federal and State Returns. But then to even begin state it is requiring a $45 additional fee. Taxes are high enough then Turbo Tax steals more. I paid for the program. All I want to do is get what I paid for. All I want to do is process my state then I will mail it on my own. This is what I have done in the past. This year they trick you. SO FRUSTRATED with Turbo Tax!

Off-campus housing is a monthly lease, so the $6,630 is the total rent payments made in 2024. That money comes out of parents bank account and 529 distribution went directly back to that bank account. Fall term started on August 26th. I had read the dependent rules as "5 months", so didn't think he qualified since he was not a student at the beginning of August. He did live with parents from January until leaving for his college in mid-August and he did not provide more than 1/2 of support. Thanks for the guidance thus far.

Yes, you can use TurboTax to weigh the differences as an estimate by setting up accounts for each scenario in TurboTax Desktop. This version will allow you to create practice returns and you are not trying to file them. You can keep changing the scenario with changes in your income. Check the interest amount if you cashed in the bonds and then add that interest to the rest of your income on a married filing jointly status and in the other account use the single status to see the differences 2025 Filing jointly or separately (using 2024 software): There is also a 'What-if Worksheet' you can use in TurboTax Desktop. Select 'Open Form' and type 'what', then click the 'What-if Worksheet. Use the Married Filing Joint versus Married Filing Separate checkbox to see these results however the tax would be higher using this. This is a quick view in worse case scenario. Also TurboTax Online can be created for each scenario. You can use a different user name for each online account. The tax brackets in 2024 will give a good indicator of your tax situation based on income and filing status. We could assume they will go up by 2030 however working with what we know is the place to start. Also you can see the tax rates for 2025 in the link below. State and Local Sales Tax Rates, 2025 We are sorry for your loss. [Edited: 04/08/2025 | 7:05 AM PST]

Update: Called the same number everyone else did. Took about 10 tries to get the automated machine to answer and put me in the queue. Waited on hold about 10 minutes until a live person answered. He asked me a few questions (SSN, name, address, phone number, amount owed, verify a few lines on my NJ1040, bank account info) and after another 5-10 minutes said that my return was approved. He said to check the website in a few days for a date when the refund will hit my bank account.

Where is it asking for your children's AGI? Are you referring to the screen that asks if they made more than $5050? If they are full-time students it does not matter. Make sure you said in MY INFO that they were students in 2024. We have seen some users who miss an important screen in My Info titled "Less Common Situations" on which you need to click that they were a student.
