Where are you seeing $0? It could be a display issue. Have you checked your state's Where's My Refund?   Once your return is filed, TurboTax has no control over the processing of your return or the release of your refund.   Here are a couple FAQs to track your refund: When will I get my federal tax refund? How do I track my state refund? Why does Where's My Refund say "approved" but TurboTax still says "accepted"? Why do some refunds take longer than others? What if my IRS refund is taking longer than 21 days?

Greetings,   I am attempting to complete the Statement of Employment Expenses, Calculation of work-space-in-the-home expenses. My concern is regarding the automatic calculation of line 48.   There is a very clear example showing that, for line 48, Total Employment-Use amount, you must calculate the percentage of hours in a week during which the home is used for work, and multiply that by the percentage of square footage of the home which is used for work. (The example reads that if you use 12% of your home for work, and work for 23.8% of the hours in a week, then your total employment-use amount is 12% * 23.8% = 2.86%).    However, the Turbotax automatic calculation is simply entering the percentage of square footage of the home used for work (in the example that would be 12%).   Is the automatic calculation incomplete or am I not understanding the total employment-use amount correctly? I could override this number, but then the software warns NetFile will no longer file my return for me.   Thanks for clarifying!

No, the depreciation recapture has no effect.  However, the gain from any sales would add to income and that would have an effect.   @eastend19

CatinT1: Hi, I missed to report my 2024 income Tax information of Canada RRSP accounts, because I don't know how to place my NR4 information into my income tax return. I asked the representative to help me.  They told me to use a new SSA-1099 Form, but I cannot find the new Form in TurboTax Document Form Library. Right now, I have to add the 2024 NR4 information to my 2024 income Tax Return to amend my 1040 X. and getting correct 2024 Tax income Return's conclusion. I will follow your instructions: "You must first wait until the initial return is completely processed. "......   Thank you! Yuhua

You can see the difference in your income from your original Form 1040 and your Amended Form 1040-X by reviewing the income in column B:     We're unable to see your tax return in this forum, but your taxable social security income depends on your total income.  If you are single and made between $25,000 and $34,000 last year, up to 50% of your Social Security is taxable.  If you made more than $34,000, you'll pay taxes on up to 85% of your Social Security. When you enter all of your income, TurboTax will calculate the taxable portion of your Social Security. (Half of your social security benefits are included in the base.)   Refer to the TurboTax articles Is my Social Security income taxable?, How does receiving Social Security affect my taxes? and When Does a Senior Citizen on Social Security Stop Filing Taxes?   @psharonmarie
