Do you get Social Security? Was 1040 line 6b zero? A common reason could be the Foreign question. Go back through the Social Security questions. Right after you enter the SSA-1099 is a screen asking if you lived in a foreign place. People have been answering it wrong or skipping it. Answer should be No. And it is for each spouse if filing Joint. If the IRS adjusted your return for missing the taxable Social Security you do not need to amend for that. That's why it's a good reason before you file to check your return line by line with last year and you might have seen that the taxable Social Security on line 6b was missing if it was taxable before. Then you could have questioned it.

Let us know exactly what's happening.
You can try these things:
Log Out Completely: Before doing anything else, click Sign Out in the TurboTax menu.
Clear Cache and Cookies: This removes old, "corrupted" data that might be confusing the website.
Use an Incognito (Private) Window: This is the most effective "quick fix" because it launches the browser without any saved history or extensions (like AdBlockers) that often interfere with tax forms.
Check Pop-up Blockers: TurboTax often opens forms (like the 1099 PDF) or payment windows in a separate pop-up. Look at the right side of your address bar for a small icon with a "red X"—click it and select "Always allow pop-ups from Intuit."
Restart the Browser: Close all open windows of your browser entirely and then reopen it.
Most TurboTax errors happen because the browser is trying to use an old "session" from a previous visit. By clearing the cache or using Incognito mode, you force the browser to establish a brand-new, secure connection with the Intuit servers.

You enter investment sales in the Wages and Income section of TurboTax, then Investment Income, then Stocks, cryptocurrency, Mutual Funds, Bonds, etc... You will see a list of all the investment sales you entered. Use the dropdown arrow on the right to find the edit option.

@rainbowturtle Since the first extension request as accepted, the second request will probably be rejected by the IRS. There is nothing you need to do.

That was such a shock to me as well. ItsDeductible has been a savior for me, even before it was part of turbotax. It was so good in so many ways (even though I had my complaints since we donate a lot of clothing and goods many times in a year). What TT had this year was the dumbest system I've ever seen. I used donationcalc.com when I got super frustrated and it was helpful at least in I didn't have to use a calculator for every pair of jeans over a year's time.

No. Accepted and processed are two different things. Accepted means that your return has been received by the IRS and has passed their initial screening. Processing means that the IRS is reviewing your return.
Here is a TurboTax article about Accepted status for more information:

Sorry, Online is only for 2025 now. Online for 2024 and prior is closed now so you can not start a new 2024 or prior return or finish one. You have to do each year separately How to prepare a prior year return https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/using-turbotax/help/how-do-i-prepare-a-prior-year-tax-return/00/25984 To do a prior year return you have to buy the Desktop program here, https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products You will need Windows 10 or Mac Ventura 13 to install it on. If you can't install the Desktop program or if you have a simple return and want to file for free, you can fill out the blank IRS forms by hand. Here are some basic forms….. Here is the IRS 2024 Form 1040 https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-prior/f1040--2024.pdf OR if you want bigger type use 1040SR for Seniors, https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-prior/f1040s--2024.pdf And 2024 Instructions https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-prior/i1040gi--2024.pdf Sch 1 : https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-prior/f1040s1--2024.pdf Sch 2 : https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-prior/f1040s2--2024.pdf Sch 3 : https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-prior/f1040s3--2024.pdf Then when you do file 2025 enter 0 for the 2024 AGI since you are filing 2024 late. You have to print and mail prior year returns. When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS received the return. Don’t forget state.

Even though you are a federal resident, your "home" state in TurboTax determines which state forms it loads.
Go to Personal Info (or My Info).
Under "State of Residence", select Foreign or US Territory
Look for the question: "Did you live in another state in 2025?" Select no. Even if you were physically in Wisconsin all year, for tax purposes, your "domicile" (permanent home) is your home country.
Now look for a question asking if you made any money in any other states, select yes. Here you will select Wisconsin as the state where you made money.
Now, start the Wisconsin state return.
First question asks did you make money in Wisconsin but never lived there, say yes. This will keep you as a non-resident of Wisconsin.
Next question, check you were a non-resident of Wisconsin for the entire year.
Next, you are what your resident state is. Check a box that says I need to enter a foreign country, then it will ask you to name the country.
Continue through the return. If it asks you to allocate income, be sure all your income appears as Wisconsin-sourced income since you have no other states to allocate income to.
Before you do this, though, verify you can file as a Wisconsin non-resident in case you are audited by the state. if you are examined, make sure you have relevant proof that you do qualify as a non-resident.
