Not helpful. The form just keeps repopulating if you use walkthrough.   This is a blatant bug that should be fixed in the program immediately. Ignoring fixing it and just pushing that off with self-service community workarounds makes Intuit look untrustworthy.

Did you e-file your tax return and was it accepted? Only the IRS and your State control when and if a Federal or State tax refund is Approved and Issued.   You complete your tax return by finishing all 3 Steps in the File section. In Step 3, to e-file your tax return, you must click on the large button labeled "Transmit my returns now".   After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.   Note - Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund.  Only the taxpayer listed on the tax return can obtain the status of a tax refund or a tax return.   To check the status of an e-filed return, open up your desktop product or log into your TurboTax Online Account. You can find your status within the TurboTax product. If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status - https://www.irs.gov/refunds If accepted by the state use this TurboTax support FAQ to check the state tax refund status - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/track-state-refund/L3jgO8PGs_...   After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.

The only thing that you need to change is the partnership basis.  Your basis in the partnership is zero.  You received 3000 shares in exchange for the initial $50,000 investment.  That reduced your basis to zero.  So change that and you will have no loss for the ending of the partnership this year.   When you sell the 3000 shares you will have to enter a basis for them so that you can determine whether there is a gain or loss on the sale of the shares.  Your basis in the 3000 shares is the $50,000 investment that your wife made back in 2020.  It does not come into play - just like the shares - until the sale happens.   So there should be no loss this year.

The amount of state taxes paid for 2025 on Schedule A Line 5 is being reduced by $2,554 and the Schedule A line 5 worksheet line 19 is showing an amount of $2,554 which is reducing my state taxes paid amount for 2025.  In 2024 I used the Standard Deduction.  I received a Massachusetts state tax refund in 2025 for 2024 in the amount of $13,924 which TT is saying is not taxable.  Could the refund I received in 2025 of $13,924 be impacting my deductible state taxes paid for 2025?  If so, how can I verify if the $2,554 reduction is correct and what would it be based on?

You need to go to the Wages and Income section, then Investment Income, then Stocks, Cryptocurrency, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other and update that section. On the first screen you come to you will see a list of your Ebay sale items. You need to edit them and enter in the cost basis and other information requested regarding each sale.   Since you sold 300 items though, it seems like you are self-employed, in which case you could choose that option for the type of property sold, in the section where you enter the 1099-K, and then you would not have to report the cost of each item separately. In that case, however, your income would be considered self-employment income and you would be subject to self-employment tax.    If you go the self-employment route, after you enter your Form 1099-K sales, you need to go to the self-employment section to enter in the cost of the items sold as one entry.
I don't need the Identity protection pin. How do I get out of that?

Interesting to read that IRS website page on MAGI.  Perhaps the most annoying place where a  MAGI calculation is need is for Medicare IRRMA.   Could they be that unaware of the pain IRMMA causes seniors to exclude it from the list of MAGI calculations? Makes no sense.  Unless of course, they recognize it for what it is, an extortion scheme to punish those who have paid the most into the system, instead of treating them as the VIPs who have keep Medicare funded.
And it can’t transmit state until federal has been Accepted.

Our house has a separately metered basement unit, with separate front and back entrance. So the house is a 2-unit home, where we live upstairs and the 2nd unit in the basement (where we do not have access to) is rented as a vacation home. We rented both units in the past until 2021 and left it as a second home, because we moved out of state. We moved back to the upper unit in 2023 and have been doing work for the basement for renovation. 2025 was when we finally completed the renovation and rented the basement unit for part of the year. I need a tax expert for guidance in how to property filling out the rental property information. In the past it was straight forward because it was rented 100%, both the upper and lower units. Now only the basement unit is rented, but it is part of my home where we live in. When I followed the prompts and answered all the questions, I noticed that all the expenses that we had on the rental unit such as utilities, repairs, renovations that were strictly for the basement unit for the purpose of furnishing as a rental unit ended up diverting to "personal use," which is not accurate. I noticed this when I accidentally put in a higher number of days that we rent the property, TurboTax spits out higher returns for us. How do I make sure all the expenses that we put in for our basement rental is not being diverted into "personal use?"
And no, do not enter box 1 for SS wages.  It can be different for many reasons like 401K and medical.
Try entering a 0 (zero) for her 2024 AGI and e-file again.  If this also fails then enter a 0 (zero) for the 2024 AGI for both of you and e-file again.
