It should have automatically been calculated.    The deduction is automatically calculated by TurboTax if you qualify. The calculation will appear on Schedule 1-A page 2, Part V Enhanced Deduction for Seniors, which is then carried to your Form 1040 line 13b.    The maximum deduction is $6,000 for each person 65. There is a phaseout of the deduction once your income (MAGI) exceeds $75,000 for single or $150,000 for married filing jointly (MFJ). On a joint return the phaseout is calculated separately for each person.   On a joint return the phaseout is calculated separately for each person, so the 6% phases out for each spouse. This deduction is intended to provide tax relief for seniors and is in addition to the existing Standard Deduction or your Itemized Deductions. Expires December 31, 2028.

For most people, you don't enter it, at all.  There is no federal deduction for making a contribution to a 529 plan, so there is no place in the TurboTax (TT) Federal program to enter it.  TT will not be tracking your contributions.    Some states allow a deduction on the state return. If your state is one, it will come up in the state interview; usually in the "Here's how (your state) handles income differently" section.  If you state allows a carryforward, the TT state program will track that.    For a state list of eligible plans, see: https://www.savingforcollege.com/article/how-much-is-your-state-s-529-plan-tax-deduction-really-wort...

Sounds like something got stuck. You can try these things:   Log Out Completely: Before doing anything else, click Sign Out in the TurboTax menu. Clear Cache and Cookies: This removes old, "corrupted" data that might be confusing the website. Use an Incognito (Private) Window: This is the most effective "quick fix" because it launches the browser without any saved history or extensions (like AdBlockers) that often interfere with tax forms. Check Pop-up Blockers: TurboTax often opens forms (like the 1099 PDF) or payment windows in a separate pop-up. Look at the right side of your address bar for a small icon with a "red X"—click it and select "Always allow pop-ups from Intuit." Restart the Browser: Close all open windows of your browser entirely and then reopen it.   Most TurboTax errors happen because the browser is trying to use an old "session" from a previous visit. By clearing the cache or using Incognito mode, you force the browser to establish a brand-new, secure connection with the Intuit servers.

You do not enter a 1095-C anywhere and it does not need to be mailed with your return.
I lived in a foreign country twice recently. I was asked for both dates, but want to correct the earlier one.

It's important that you made the appropriate selections so that TurboTax does know that it was not self employment income. Open your TurboTax Online/Mobile or TurboTax Desktop tax return Search (upper right) > type 1099misc > click the Jump to... link Begin your entry of the 1099-MISC. It's important for you to select 'None of these apply" and then you should also select the following: 'No' on the screen 'Did the '____' involve work that's like your main job?' 'No' on the screen 'Did the '____'  involve an intent to earn money?' This will report the income without any business/self employment activity and it will show up on Form 1040, Line 8 (From Schedule 1, Line 8z). Continue to complete this section.

@cynluria  That commonly happens for certain situations...especially if you turned 59.5 in 2025...but possibly for a few others too.   IF they have different codes in box 7, then they are to be entered separately  (Unless one is labelled as being a corrected 1099-R). _______________ I strongly recommend that you DO NOT enter by taking pictures....just enter them manually...just hit the   "Type it in myself".   After entering one and complete all the followup questions...then you enter the second one.

@bparthas I was careful not to use the word "fixed" in my prior post but guess I should've included more details and disclaimers. The previous verbiage on the Easy Extension submission page referred to "your return," but when I logged in yesterday it had been changed to refer to "your forms" instead, as reported by @shaylacarin. The extension is, in fact, recorded on Form 4868, so the new verbiage is technically accurate whereas the previous verbiage definitely was not. I would've preferred it to say "your extension form" but the updated verbiage was good enough for me when coupled with the fact that others in this thread had previously reported getting a confirmation of the extension, not the return, being submitted when they tried under the previous verbiage. I am only reporting what I saw and what the result was for me. I obviously can't speak to what others are seeing when you log in and everyone needs to make their own decision.
