Not sure if this helps, since I use the desktop version, not the online version, but at the top are 5 dropdown headings (File, Edit, View, Tools, Online, Help).  Clicking on/Hovering over the "View" heading causes it to drop down a list you can choose from - Step-by-Step, Forms, Zoom.  Pick "Forms" and you can see all the forms TurboTax has filled out, both the TurboTax worksheets as well as the formal forms that will be submitted when you file.  For me, at least, the 1040 form is the second one on the list on the right.  Again, at least for the desktop version, be aware that any changes you make to the forms changes what TurboTax sees/shows in the regular step-by-step interface, so be careful.  You can change back to the regular step-by-step interface by selecting Step-by-Step from the "View" drop down.
To enter a Canadian postal code in TurboTax, you must select the Foreign or US territory option for the address type. This changes the input fields to allow for Canadian provinces and postal codes.

First, if you efiled, be sure your efiled return was accepted.   If using Online TurboTax, you can check at the Tax Home page.   Does it show as accepted, rejected, printed, started, ready to mail, or something else?   If that showed your return was accepted for processing, you can track your Federal refund at the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool: https://www.irs.gov/refunds   The IRS normally uses 3 stages: Return received and is being processed. Refund approved. Refund sent and an expected deposit date.   If that tool shows your refund is still being processed, then since it's been longer than the usual 21 days, you can phone the IRS to see if they can tell you anything about the delay.   IRS: 800-829-1040 (7AM-7 PM local time) Monday-Friday

It only counts as overtime pay if it was for work in excess of  40 hours per week.  Only the overtime premium (the "half" part of "time-and-a half") is deductible.  A hazard pay premium paid on overtime hours would not be deductible, unless the hazard premium was paid at time and a half (or double time).

I have the opposite question, where can I enter my traditional IRA? Where you said it says "traditional SEP", and I thought that was the place, but if that's only for SEP contribs then I can't find the right place to enter traditional IRA. Thanks!
Awesome, thanks!   That said, would you know offhand where to enter my traditional IRA? The help sent me back to the same place.

Well, while I'm sure that the time between submitting and getting the email stating the return has been accepted (separate emails for Federal and State submittals) is dependent on what is being filed, how busy the systems are, and whether the Federal systems are up and operational this year, last year the gap was a little over a half an hour between submittal and the acceptance email.   As they say, however, your mileage may vary.

I called telephone number on the website and always get a recording to leave a message and never get a call back. This is certainly a scam company, Have anyone had any luck closing their account. Thank you   You are commenting on a very old discussion and I don't know what your facts are, who is charging you, or why.  Intuit does offer a monthly subscription for Quickbooks (business software) and some of those subscriptions include Turbotax as well, but the Turbotax Advantage program is a yearly charge for the tax software, not monthly. If you believe you are being billed by Turbotax, you have to call the customer service number to speak to a representative.  If you are being charged by someone else, you have to contact them.  There are also ways to block unauthorized charges through your bank or credit card.

Would be easy to refile but as IRS said no, don't want to make a mess of this. But I can't get verification that my taxes were accepted. I'm wondering if there is more to your situation not yet explained.   "TurboTax says refile."      How and where did it say that?   "Instruction from IRS says not to refile."      How and where did they say that?   How is the IRS involved?  Did you get an IRS notice/letter?   What is displayed at the Tax Home of your Online TurboTax?   Does it say accepted, rejected, printed, started, ready to mail, or something else? Did you get any confirmatory emails after you efiled?

@EagleSongs wrote: Thank you for your response, but none of these situations applies to me. I have certainly not withdrawn any funds, and the only plan I've contributed to is a 401k (which has been vested for years).  My searches have led me to advice just to delete the box 11 amount in TurboTax, which I am considering, because otherwise, TT won't let me move forward without answering this question. If you report a W-2 that is different than what the employer sends to the IRS, you are very likely to get at least a letter from the IRS asking you to explain the discrepancy and assessing tax and a penalty.  In some cases, filing a W-2 that does not match what the IRS has on file can delay your refund significantly.  It would be better to ask your employer what this entry represents, and get a corrected W-2 if the employer made a mistake.

Hi, thank you. I asked my employer not to withhold New York State tax, but they said that if they stop withholding New York tax, it would trigger Ohio state tax withholding, which they are not currently set up to file. They also mentioned that it would cost more to set up payroll for Ohio. I’m wondering if this is accurate. Additionally, the company has locations in New York, DC, Boston,, and San Francisco—those are the only locations they operate in.
it says to check this entry person on the return worksheet (Meridith):enrollment status must be entered

Initially displays a penalty for using the FSA, until the child expense is validated. Correct.  Both the credit and the FSA are reconciled on form 2441.  If you have an FSA, but don't report a qualifying child or qualifying expenses, then any reimbursements are added back to your taxable income.

This year I received a SSA-1099 addressed to me on the account of my husband who died in 2024. The lump sum was the amount of one month of his benefits.  As I complete the questions for a lump sum Social Security payment I am asked "Amount in box 5 of your 2024 Form SSA-1099".  I filed a joint return for 2024, my husband and I each had a SSA-1099.   Whose amount from 2024's box 5 do I use?
