I still have not received the download concerning retirement income section---IRA, etc. I assume I will have to purchase another product somewhere else if not received very soon.

Although the forms availability table indicates that Form 8829 is ready to e-file, depreciation calculations have not been finalized. This prevents Form 8829 from accurately calculating your home office deduction, which is why you received the "Check this Entry" message.
We recommend that you wait a few days for TurboTax Online updates to be released, which should resolve the experience you're having with the Home Office Deduction.

When Turbo Tax is checking for errors, I get a message that line 7A must be checked yes or no. I click on no. Run smart check again and it says line 7A must be blank. It won't allow me to continue because of this. When I check the "NO" block it errors out saying it must be blank. If I try to leave it blank, it says must be yes or no. What's going on? I need to check the no block, but it errors out with smart check.

Am in Forms view on 2024 TurboTax Premier for Windows. Looking at Part IV, lines 18, 19, and 20. Line 18: "Enter the combined value of all traditional IRAs (including SEP and SIMPLE IRAs) on 12/31/2024 (See Help)." Line 19: "If any amounts were recharacterized either to or from any traditional IRA, enter the net amounts recharacterized after 12/31/2024." QUESTION: Any amounts recharacterized TO a traditional IRA (e.g., from a Roth) that ARE INCLUDED IN line 18? Or that ARE IN ADDITION TO the amount in line 18? I assume it is the latter, but wanted to check. Line 20: "Enter the total amount of any traditional IRA distributions that you rolled over, or intend to roll over, to another traditional IRA, but the rollover was (or will be) made after 12/31/2024." QUESTION: I rolled over 100% of my 401(k) to a traditional IRA on 12/31/2024 after taking my RMD from the 401(k) => my 12/31/2024 401(k) balance was zero. However, the funds were actually added to my rollover IRA at Fidelity on 1/2/2025 => they are NOT included in line 18. Nonetheless, I do NOT include the rollover from the 401(k) in line 20, correct? (The verbiage in line 20 pertains to IRA's and does not mention 401(k)'s, but I wanted to make sure.) Somewhat related: In step-by-step view, how do I get back into the section that underlies the IRA Info Wks form? There is no "jump to" link in Help. Tried to get there by once again going through the IRA section in Deductions, but failed. Thanks!!!

TurboTax does not have a copy of the W-2 or Form 1099. It would have a Form W-2 Wage and Tax Statement that included the tax data from the forms that were entered. The forms would be included in the PDF of the tax return in the tax year the return was completed.
Copies of a Form 1099 would have to obtained from the issuer of the form.
To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
Scroll down to the section Your tax returns & documents. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)
If you cannot obtain the W-2 from your employer, then for a fee you can get a complete copy of a W-2 from the Social Security Administration - https://faq.ssa.gov/en-us/Topic/article/KA-02501
You can get a free Wage and Income transcript from the IRS - https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript
For a fee of $30 you can get a complete federal tax return to include copies of W-2's, if you mailed the tax return and included a paper W-2, from the IRS by completing Form 4506 - http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506.pdf

Include only actual military retirement income in the box titled "Military retirement income included in federal income".
Do not include any of your civil service retirement income in that box, not even the amount attributable to military time. TurboTax (TT) will do that calculation for the amount of civil service pension excludable and then add it to the amount of actual military retirement (if any).
It is working correctly on my program (desktop [download] Deluxe).

No. You do not combine them. You will be given the option to add a MSA for both you and your spouse. To do this, be sure you have entered your spouses info on the personal info section of your return and selected that you are married filing jointly. After you select that both you and your spouse received the MSA, it will ask you who received this 1099-SA. Select one of you then when you have it completed select add another and select the other person and enter the information from their 1099-SA.

In all likelihood and in my experience, the bank will not issue a 1099 and they will say "we can't offer tax advice, contact your tax advisor."

Has your access to the Earned Income Tax Credit has been disallowed during a previous tax year? Perhaps you have received a letter from the IRS allowing you to again claim the Earned Income Tax Credit. If not, you are able to download IRS form 8862 from the IRS website.
In TurboTax Online, at the screen Let's check for uncommon situations, click the hyperlink to the right of I got a notice from the IRS saying that Form 8862 is required for the Earned Income Tax Credit.
Why do I need to file an 8862?
If your Earned Income Tax Credit was disallowed for any year after 1996, you'll receive a letter from the IRS confirming this. If your permission is later restored by the IRS, you’ll need to complete Form 8862 Information to Claim Certain Refundable Credits After Disallowance to claim this credit.

The valuation stuff?? Who knows... a couple more weeks as a guess. ___________________ The item deletion bug??? That was just confirmed by some TTX staff a couple days ago....so might take 1 or 2 more weeks. Check next week....But if you delete any charity not used this year FIRST...then exit the charity area to be sure it takes, then go back into the charity area to add your items., you should be good. Of course, that doesn't help the hundreds-of-thousands of folks who are entering items right now how don't know there is a problem.
