Did the IRS mail you a letter requesting banking information?  Have you carefully read the instructions in that letter which tells you how to provide the banking information?

You do not use "amend" to fix a rejected return.   You only use "amend" for a return that has been filed and fully processed by the IRS, in order to make a correction or addition to the information entered originally.   If your original e-file was rejected, it has never gone to the IRS.  Do not try to "amend" it.   Either fix it and re-file, or print,  sign and date it in ink, and mail it in.
Its Deductible was eliminated at the end of October 2025 and has not yet been replaced by a new tool.  Sorry.

@user17726029146    Were you required to go thru those steps in prior years??   If Not.....then Any chance that RRB-1099-R has a real box 2a value somewhat lower than box 1....but not empty nor a zero? If so, then you may have mis-chosen an answer to one of the follow-up questions after entering the main RRB-1099-R  form.   I can give more directions if this is the case, and you haven't actually filed your taxes yet.
No one can see your screen or your tax return.  There are a lot of lines on a tax return.  Line 14 of what?

@Scharpjb    I had a similar issue on an NC tax return's 1099-R. The key for mine was that I had to put "NC" into the box 15 state code.   So try putting "MI" into box 15 first.    If it's already there, then i guess it must be something else.   (You should really be making the selection during the entry of the 1099-R form thru the interview steps, to make sure all follow-up questions get answered)

When you amend your return to file as Married Filing Jointly, you will include ALL income, ALL dependents and ALL deductions and credits on ONE return.     For the previous years, when you amend the return, you cannot leave your daughter off and then add her back later so he doesn't get the benefit of claiming her.  If you did that, you would basically be filing an amended return to file MFJ and then undoing that joint return and going back to filing as Head of Household again.     Since your divorced was finalized in 2025, you would NOT file Married Filing jointly for 2025 because you were not married on the last day of the tax year.     When amending your return, you have 3 years after the date your originally filed or 2 years after the date you paid the tax (whichever is later) to file.       How do I amend my federal tax return for a prior year?
The same amount which is the fees that were deducted from the filing and requesting a five day earlier deposit where taken out of my state when I got them and my federal when I got them as well !!!

I did not send in an estimated tax amount to the State shown in  my Turbo tax state income tax return, which the State indicated that they never received it. I accepted the estimated tax the State received. Is it possible that a spurious mistake accidentally appeared I did not catch at the final review?
Can you clarify what that was. Was this a payment to the IRS? Was this a relocation expense? Was it already included in box 2 of the W-2?
