They were not available on 2/18/26 even though the IRS finalized over a week ago
This seems reasonable to use property type as 8.  When doing this for a mineral lease (bonus), what would up enter for "Days rented at fair rental value"?  This was leased mid-year as a 5 year lease.
TurboTax Online does not expose the “average stay 7 days or less” question in the interview flow for your situation.
Are you referring to the SSA-1099 from the Social Security administration? If so, go to this website to request a copy - https://www.ssa.gov/faqs/en/questions/KA-01723.html

@ae_servati    Yeah, box 2a should be left blank.   On one of the pages AFTER you enter all your CSA-1099-R tax form data, there is one screen  that asks if in prior years was the total amount taxable...you need to answer NO, ant then the General and Simplified methods will be presented as choices  in the next screen...for you to then enter the appropriate information to calculate what the proper taxable amount really is.   Make sure you did NOT select the SEP/SIMPLE/IRA box on the main form.

The depreciation will not link from Form 3115 to your Schedule E. Be sure to get the total accumulated depreciation prior to 2025, and enter that number on your Schedule E under 'Any Miscellaneous Expenses' then use the description F3115 Section 481(a), then add the amount. Your depreciation schedule will maintain the information for each asset for future use.   @RK-S
I was able to efile on February 7. The only forms that had "do not file" were the 1040-ES. Thanks for finding the schedule saying they will be available on Feb 26.

Apparently there is an option to click "no thanks" but because you put it at the bottom of the screen, you don't necessarily see it. Sure, that's on me, too, but I'm done supporting a business simply looking to squeeze every penny that it can out of me. I will find a better option for 2026. Have fun losing customers over this, I'm sure I am not the first to post something like this!
This does not work on Mac, Still having trouble importing.  Keeps telling me forms are not available but I see them on the site.

I read this from TT 2023 post but I don't think it's accurate anymore as it seems to have been updated? "The issue is that TurboTax software doesn't know how to talk to the State's non-Resident return form and only include my spouse's income in the Column A of the Non-Resident return. It pulls in both of our income and that is incorrect. It should only pull in my spouse's income. The state form was then erroneously calculating our AGI (and therefore our tax) based on both my salary and my spouse's salary which is wrong. It should only calculate on my spouse's salary. "

Whether you can deduct rent depends primarily on your employment status and the duration of your assignment.    If you are a self-employed on a temporary assignment lasting less than one year, you can generally deduct rent as a business travel expense on Schedule C.    However, if you are a W-2 employee, current federal law typically prevents you from deducting unreimbursed employee business expenses.    To qualify, you must also maintain a "tax home" in your primary state and show that your living expenses are being duplicated. If your work assignment in the second state is expected to last longer than one year, it is considered "indefinite," and your rent becomes a non-deductible personal expense.
Yes, that is what it should mean.   This year there have been several states in which deducting TurboTax fees from a state refund instead of the federal refund has been allowed.

I am getting the same error for transmitting both Fed and GA state partnership.  I had several interactions and spent several hours with TT support, and ended up with my only option is to mail the forms. (which is a disappointing answer,  I could have saved myself a lot of money not paying for the software). All of my forms for filing a available for e-filing. This is everything I stepped through, which did not fix my issue: - On Feb 17th, told it was an issue on TT's side, and it would be resolved by Feb 20th. - On Feb 21st, went through the following actions with TT support, and attempted to e-file after each of these after verifying the review came up with no errors/issues. 1) Completely cleared my browser cache and logged back in and e-filed (failed) 2) Searched for forms that are not ready to e-file (none found) 3) Deleted Fed form 8453-PE and GA8453P (failed) 4) Review a number of entries in app to ensure I did not select something requiring a form to get mailed in (nothing found) 5) Attempted to file Fed only (failed) I am not sure if I wait another week or two or go the old fashion mail it in route.
Please ask a complete and clear question.

It may take up to 5 business days after the refund is sent before the refund is available on your bank account.
