If you received a "Success" message but your data hasn't appeared in TurboTax, it is likely due to recent browser security updates regarding Local Network Access.
To fix this you need to allow TurboTax to securely retrieve your data through your browser settings:
Locate the View Site Information icon (the "tune" or "lock" icon) on the far left of your address bar, just before the URL.
Find Local Network Access in the dropdown menu.
Toggle the switch to ON.
Refresh the page and attempt your import again.
If permissions aren't the issue, one of the following factors may be at play:
Brokerage Delays: While most forms arrive by January 31, many brokerages delay Consolidated 1099s (like the 1099-B) until mid-February due to complex reporting requirements.
Availability: Your brokerage must specifically "release" the import file to TurboTax. If it isn’t ready, we recommend checking back.
Connection Blocks: Active VPNs or aggressive Anti-Virus software can occasionally block the import feature between your bank and TurboTax. Try disabling them temporarily or switching to a different browser.

By putting what you were charged for the most expensive product you are answering questions about the mark-up in your area as well as entering information about what you paid.

Code TT is a new code for 2026. It's not supposed to be used for 2025. You can't enter it in your 2025 W-2, but you can use the amount to claim the deduction for overtime. After you enter your W-2 you will come to a screen that says "Let's check for uncommon situations." On that screen, check the box for Overtime. TurboTax will then prompt you to enter the information needed to claim the deduction for overtime. The amount shown as TT in box 12 is the amount you can deduct.

Are you the payor or the recipient?
If this was an IRA distribution and not a distribution under a qualified plan such as a 401k or 403B, then this would be subject to the 10% penalty. IRA's are to be trustee to trustee transfers in order to avoid the penalty even if it is due to divorce unless another exception applies.
What does your 1099-R have in box 7? If it has code 2, then this is an exception to the early withdrawal penalty. When you enter code 2 (Early distribution: exceptions apply) in box 7 then select continue, you will get a message that says Good News there's no tax penalty on your early distribution. There is not a separate QDRO box. TurboTax determines the taxability based on the code in box 7.
If you do not have code 2 in box 7 then you should contact the plan administrator for a corrected 1099-R. If you have code 1 in box 7, then you will be asked additional questions after entering the 1099-R and continuing through. You will see a screen that says lets see if we can lower your tax bill. On this screen you will be able to enter the amount for Paid Alternate Payee under a QDRO.
If you are the payor, then you would need to contact the plan administration for help with getting the 1099-R sent to the correct person as this would not be taxable income to you.

Annette, thanks! This worked. Deleting both form 8829's and re-entering didn't work at first. I did my wife's Schedule C and got the result I'd been seeing -- no deduction because no income. I then went to her copy of 8829 and put in the 100% amount as you said in the last section -- it worked. Did the same for me, and now we both have the home office deduction. Thank you!

Didn’t work. Thanks for trying. And calling gets you nowhere—they hang up on you after leaving you on hold forever. I’ve tried several of their so-called helplines with the same results.

Perhaps I should clarify: -using TT desktop -not electronically filing Fed or State – printing and mailing returns -TT has all the relevant SS income information -TT does NOT transfer information to Form 40, Part IV, line 5, where the state wants to know, “Do you have income which is reported on your Federal return, but not reported on your Alabama return (other than your state tax refund)? If yes, enter source(s) and amount(s) below:” Instead, TT erroneously checks the box “NO” -After entering all information, TT does a check for Accuracy, and says Yes to accuracy of calculations, missing information, and errors. Of course, we know that is not true, because TT has incorrectly reported Alabama’s Part IV, line 5. This is essentially the same type issue TT has on the 2025 Federal 1040, where TT ignores the question “check here if your main home….was in the U.S. for more than half of 2025.” All the relevant information is entered, TT declares it checked for accuracy, but TT fails to populate the check box. I have no idea if TT is sending complete and accurate information for those who file electronically, and suggest that neither do the taxpayers who do so.
