As of early 2026, Hunter Douglas has not widely published a single "universal" QMID on their main landing pages. However, for products installed in 2025, the IRS requires a 4-digit Qualified Manufacturer (QM) Code. For products installed starting January 1, 2026, the IRS transition involves moving toward a 17-character Product Identification Number (PIN).
Based on current industry data and manufacturer certification statements:
For 2025 installations: Many taxpayers have successfully used the code "HD11" or "HUNT" for Hunter Douglas on Form 5695, but this can vary by specific product line.
The Certification Statement: Hunter Douglas explicitly provides a Manufacturer’s Certification Statement for each year. This PDF is the "legal" proof you need for your records. You can usually download the latest version directly from hunterdouglas.com/tax-credit.

Hi Thanks for your reply. The pdf I downloaded from Turbotax does not contained summary pages, e-file instruction or refund account information etc as you stated. I do have several accounts with Intuit but I did go through everyone of them and could not find the details of my 2024 refund. In my 2024 turbotax app, I checked the e-file status, it said IRS accepted all my fed and states returns. But the refund amount shown on the pdf does not match fed and state refund. I don't how to get to the one that matches both. Please let me know how can I find out the correct one. Thanks for your help

@lisa Any chance your income is in the phase-out range? Check the tables here: Traditional and Roth IRA Contribution Limits | Fidelity Investments __________________________________ Assuming you were born in 1975, or earlier...and it was an actual ROTH IRA. IF not the issue (probably not or the excess would record for the $7k too) Call Customer Support for investigation, and get a repair ticket issued: How do I contact TurboTax?

The amount I entered (and reported on the 1099) as interest paid on US obligations is more than the amount shown on the CT 1040, line 39 (Interest on US obligations), which is under the heading of "Modifications to Federal Adjusted Gross Income." In other words, the full amount of interest I was paid on US government debt was not deducted from the federal taxable amount in computing my State taxable amount.

Yes, here is a hypothetical example to use to determine this amount. Let’s say you have $2,000 in carryovers from 2024/2025 that you want to use up this year. Assume you will pay $500 in foreign taxes in 2026. Assume your average U.S. tax rate is 20% (0.20). (you need to decide what your tax rate is for this year.) Calculate the Total Credit Needed: You need a limit of $2,500 ($500 for this year + $2,000 carryover). Solve for Foreign Income: .20/2500=$12,500 Here you take the effective US tax rate of .20 divide it by the limit that is described above. This is your formula. In this scenario, you would need about $12,500 in foreign source income (consulting or interest) to create enough "room" to use that $2,000 carryover.

Sounds like something got stuck. You can try these things:
Log Out Completely: Before doing anything else, click Sign Out in the TurboTax menu.
Clear Cache and Cookies: This removes old, "corrupted" data that might be confusing the website.
Use an Incognito (Private) Window: This is the most effective "quick fix" because it launches the browser without any saved history or extensions (like AdBlockers) that often interfere with tax forms.
Check Pop-up Blockers: TurboTax often opens forms (like the 1099 PDF) or payment windows in a separate pop-up. Look at the right side of your address bar for a small icon with a "red X"—click it and select "Always allow pop-ups from Intuit."
Restart the Browser: Close all open windows of your browser entirely and then reopen it.
Most TurboTax errors happen because the browser is trying to use an old "session" from a previous visit. By clearing the cache or using Incognito mode, you force the browser to establish a brand-new, secure connection with the Intuit servers.

The IRS uses your prior year AGI to combat fraud. Make sure you take into account the information below.
You can find your 2024 Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) by:
Looking at line 11 on page 1 of your 2024 Form 1040
Requesting a transcript of your 2024 tax return from the IRS. You can request your transcript online at the following link: Get Transcript
Please click on this TurboTax article for more information.
Check these items as well to ensure you have the correct number. If you:
Filed late last year after mid-November or your return was processed after that time—try entering 0.
Amended your return last year—make sure you’re using the AGI from your original return, not the amended one. (If you only have a 1040X form, it’s on line 1, column A).
Rounded your AGI to the nearest dollar—be sure to round up when it’s 50 cents or more and down when it’s 49 cents or less.
Filed with your spouse last year—you and your spouse have the same 2024 AGI. (Don’t split the AGI amount or enter 0 for one of you).
Time-saving Tip: If what you entered is correct and you continue to get a reject, you won't be able to e-file. There's probably a data mismatch at the government, or some other situation beyond your control that prevents your return from being e-filed. In this case, your only option would be to print and mail in your return.
This article will give you instruction on how to print and mail your return.

If you have filed the tax return, the bank information cannot be changed. If the IRS cannot direct deposit the refund due to the closed account they will mail a refund check to the address on the tax return.
If you have not filed the tax return, in the File section on Step 2 you can enter the bank information for direct deposit.

I spoke with the SSA and "did ask them why". They said I should talk to Intuit. I then questioned if they are receiving any of my other documents submitted through Quick employer forms. They have the W2/3 for the following year but no record of the year they are missing. I then gave them the confirmation number emailed to me by intuit stating the acceptance of the forms by the SSA. That confirmation number was unrecognizable to them. What good is a confirmation number if it is not recognized by all parties involved? I realize I can resubmit the forms that I have already paid intuit to submit, but I shouldn't have to.
