I am using desktop turbotax deluxe. When I try to import a doccument, it opens a tab on my browser and after logging in, I get a message that the import was successful and to return to Turbo tax. However the turbotax screen still shows two options: skip import or continue. If I hit continue, it goes into a loop, opening a tab again and asking me to log in. If I hit skip, those documents don't show up   Super frustrating :(

2 days ago I was on the phone with Turbo Tax support for 45 minutes. Same issue, same problem regarding Canadian Retirement info you can't get past. She had me DELETE my 1099-R's, skip ahead to Federal Review and it showed no errors. She had me then go back and reenter my 1099-R's and everything worked fine the rest the way. The Canadian Retirement was gone and never reappeared.

When you start on 'payment' you're going to a different 'billing' server.  The 'hit a snag' message usually indicates a bad connection.  Try closing the program, clear your  Cache and Cookies and retry.  Make sure the card you're using matches the one in your Intuit account.   If you still can't make payment through the program, you can pay by phone. Use 'billing' as the reason for your call.  You'll get a confirmation code to enter as proof of payment.   @Kailuaabb

You are mostly correct in that the numbers need to be parked so that they can be carried forward.  Those are the exact parking spaces that I would use if I were entering the numbers in your place so it sounds as though you are handling the situation correctly.   @KMJK

I'm trying to electronically file our company's federal and state returns. but am being blocked by TurboTax. It throws a pop-up window that states: "Tax Year 2025 transmissions are not available.  TurboTax Business is not ready to process Tax Year 2025 for this return." Has anyone had a similar experience? And does anyone know when TurboTax Business will be able to file returns? Thanks!
What error are you getting?  Did you select Other-Not Classified from the dropdown menu?
It is the middle of February, and I am still having this issue. Turbo Tax is fully updated. This is very frustrating.

Hi,    When I say "refund" I am not referring to a tax refund.    I paid for a turbo tax accountant to do my taxes for this year. Unfortunately, I selected the service twice (and so I had to pay the fee twice, which was around $400). I realised after I paid and so I want to get the payment for one of those services refunded, which I requested...but turbotax have not yet issued me a refund.    Again, this is a refund for a TurboTax service which I paid for and NOT related to a tax refund.
It should not be included under distribution but what is basis on estate?
Go to Federal>Deductions and Credits>Estimates and Other Taxes Paid>Other Income Taxes
I've never seen advice that recommends changing what is reported on the W2. How does this not create a mismatch of documents with the IRS?
