Courts typically issue a Form 1099-G or 1099-MISC for jury duty pay. It's rare for a court to issue a Form 1099-NEC, as this form is usually reserved for self-employed individuals.    To help ensure you record this income correctly, here's how to enter your jury duty pay in TurboTax:   Navigate to the jury duty pay section: TurboTax Online/Mobile: Go to the jury duty pay screen under Wages & Income. TurboTax Desktop: Go to Federal Taxes. Go to Wages & Income.  If asked How do you want to enter…?, select I’ll choose what I work on. Under Less Common Income, select Start or Update next to Jury Duty. Follow the onscreen instructions.

If you are getting $500 instead of $2200, you need to go through the dependent questions and check your answers.   The dependent has to be 16 or younger as of Dec 31, 2025 to be eligible.       Which tax credit does my child qualify for?   See this link which shows the differences.   You may want to delete the dependent and re-add them if you know they qualify.     To qualify for the Child Tax Credit (2,200), the child must: Be related to you Have a Social Security number Be younger than 17 Be a US resident To qualify for the Credit for Other Dependents (500), the child: Doesn't have to be related to you Must have an Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN) or Social Security number Can be a Canadian or Mexican resident If they're older than 18, they can’t have a gross income of more than $5,200 in 2025 (Social Security income usually doesn’t count), unless they're either:  A qualified child under the age of 24 and a full-time student  OR  Permanently or totally disabled
Its fixed now.  Had to delete dependant and add again since it wouldn't let me edit it.

The 'needs review' flag on the Summary page doesn't affect your return if you've entered all your info.  You can verify in FORMS at the Charitable Contributions Worksheet.   When you close the program and re-open, they should disappear.  You could also step through the interview until you reach the 'summary' page.   @NTABER

When you select Merrill from the import list and Continue, another browser tab should open, then a third window to enter Sign In credentials.  If you're not getting that series of windows, if you share what you experience, we'll try to help.   It is true that since the IRS already has copies of all your 1099's the Summary Method is sufficient for them to compare totals.   @user17707508785
