DID YOU E-FILE?
Did you e-file? Did you go through all three steps of the FILE section and click a big orange button that said “Transmit my returns now?”
When you e-file your return you will get two emails from TurboTax. The first one will say your return has been transmitted; the second one will tell you the IRS has accepted or rejected your federal e-file. If you filed a state return, there will be a third email (usually a day or two later) that tells you if the state e-file was accepted or rejected.
Check your e-file status:
https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/
What does it say in your account? Does it show that the return was accepted? Or does it say something else---like "rejected," "printed," or "ready to mail?”

May be I confused on something. We did adjustment for both irs and CA to reduce taxable income based on work days allocation. After I report this adjustment on schedule oi, It is adding this adjustment back to CA income on column C. So effectively i'm paying tax on full amount then in case of CA. Am I mixing schedule oi and work days based adjustment? PS - i'm declaring the same work days adjustment in schedule oi. @DaveF1006

There is no extra fee for choosing the refund advance option. There is a fee for the "five day early" option--so do not confuse those with each other.

Yes. Form W-2G is different from form W-2 and is entered in a different section of TurboTax. Here's where you enter Form W-2G (Certain Gambling Winnings) in TurboTax (from this TurboTax Help article:( Open or continue your return. Locate the W-2G section: TurboTax Online/Mobile: Go to W-2G. TurboTax Desktop: Search for W2G (don't include any hyphens) and select the Jump to link. 3. Answer Yes on the Did you win money or other prizes in 2024? screen and follow the instructions to enter your W-2G. After you've finished entering all of your gambling winnings, we'll ask about any losses you may have had. Losses can be deducted up to the amount you reported winning, but only if you itemize. Form FTB 3853 is used to determine if you owe an individual shared responsibility penalty or to claim exemptions from the state individual health coverage mandate on your California state tax return. The Health Insurance Penalty section is found in the Credits and Taxes section of the California return.
You might be able to qualify for an exemption from having health insurance for the period of time in the situation you described. You can claim the following exemptions on your California tax return:
Income is below the tax filing threshold
Health coverage is considered unaffordable (exceeded 7.28% of household income for the 2025 taxable year)
Families’ self-only coverage combined cost is unaffordable
Short coverage gap of three consecutive months or less
Certain non-citizens who are not lawfully present
Certain citizens living abroad/residents of another state or U.S. territory
Members of health care sharing ministry
Members of federally-recognized Indian tribes including Alaskan Natives
Incarceration (other than incarceration pending the disposition of charges)
Member if applicable household born or adopted during the year
Member of applicable household died during the year
Enrolled in limited or restricted-scope Medi-Cal or other coverage from the California Department of Health Care Services
Beginning January 1, 2020, California residents must either:
Have qualifying health insurance coverage
Obtain an exemption from the requirement to have coverage
Pay a penalty when they file their state tax return
See this Franchise Tax Board webpage for more information about the exemptions and the health care mandate.

You only need the file ending in .tax2024 to transfer into 2025. On the old computer, Your tax files end in .tax or .tax2022 or .tax2023 or .tax2024 etc. They should be in your Documents in a Turbo Tax folder. You should also have the pdf files of each year. Or search your computer for all files ending in .tax. Also if you haven't done it, I would open each year in the program and save it as a PDF file, go to File-Save to PDF so you don't need the program installed to view or print your return in the future like to get a mortgage or loan, etc. What I would do is just copy the whole Turbo Tax folder that is under your Documents. That should be where the .tax files and pdf files are stored. Copy that folder to a flash drive or best yet is to burn it to a CD or DVD and then you will have a backup of them. Then on the new computer copy the folder (or files) from the flash drive to your Documents folder. The programs need to be installed from the CD or download them again. You don't need to install them unless you need to amend or open a return. They only support the last 3 years so you might not be able to update older years or download any state programs you need. Since you now have to log into an Intuit Account all your downloads and licenses are listed there (even if you bought it from somewhere else) so if you need to download to install it again or install on another computer, even on the other operating system (Windows, Mac). And the download will always be up to date with all the updates.

We at Intuit TurboTax want our users to be completely delighted with their experience using our products and services, and successful in their financial lives and businesses. Once you file your return, as long as the settings to receive communication from Intuit don’t block it, you will see a pop-up message or receive an email with a survey asking you about your experience. We encourage you to leave your notes and comments there. “Voice of the Customer” notes and comments are read and acted upon. If you are using TurboTax Desktop, you can also leave feedback at the Final Steps tab.

If the phrase "Not Started" appears on the "Income Summary" or the "Your Deductions and Credits", these values do not appear on your forms on your tax return. Therefore, if you have correctly entered your data and the data appears correctly on your return, then this Not Started phrase does not matter.
Note that you do not normally make any entries from form 5498 on to your tax return. Did you receive a form 1099-SA? This is the form goes on your tax return.

TurboTax will handle this correctly. It's a normal situation where the ordinary gain (to the extent of prior depletion claimed) will go directly to Schedule 1, and then the Form 1040. If there is any excess gain, above the previous depletion amount, it will be capital gain and either go to the Form 8949 as you pointed out, or could go directly to Schedule D, which is where it will ultimately end up so that the correct capital gain tax will be applied.

Yes, you are correct. Despite being able to claim a Standard Deduction on your Federal return (due to the US-India treaty), you are not allowed claim the Wisconsin Standard Deduction on your Wisconsin state return.
As you read in Publication 122, Wisconsin law does not recognize federal treaty provisions for the purpose of the standard deduction. Wisconsin’s tax code (Section 71.05(22)(b)) explicitly states that "if you are a Nonresident Alien at any time during the year, your Wisconsin standard deduction is $0".
