You'll need to use the TurboTax Business 2025 Desktop software (requires Windows 11) to prepare a Form 1065 partnership tax return for an LLC, and the K-1's for its partners. I checked the state business forms availability tool for California Schedule R, and it is available for e-file, but will not be available for print until 2/10/2026.

for forms availability check here tho 4562 for Schedule E is delayed until 2/11-2/13 but not updated in the tool yet https://form-status.app.intuit.com/tax-forms-availability/formsavailability?albRedirect=true&product=Turbotax_online&bu=cg there has been some issue with browser permissions preventing Vanguard from downloading and some message from Turbotax saying it completed but nothing happened, see https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/taxes/discussion/re-vanguard-brokerage-update-is-available-from-vanguard-but-not-on-turbo-tax/01/3751092#M1392263 others have noted that Merrill Edge and Amex Bank are not in the import list but are in the import partner list I don't think there's been an explanation for that other than it's likely waiting on something from the partner bank. If you are waiting on a 1099-INT import tho frankly it's far quicker just to input it and move on.

I have read comments today in which some folks said they have received an email saying the above-referenced form is available when it still is not. My concern is even more basic: whether it will ever be available to me (a new user) on my Do-It-Yourself Premium version. I ask this because, before I accessed the Community, I tried a couple of ways suggested within TurboTax Help, such as what I quote below: - - - "...Navigate to the residential energy credit section: TurboTax Online/Mobile: Go to the residential energy credit screen under Deductions & Credits TurboTax Desktop: Search for this exact phrase including the comma and spaces: 5695, residential energy credit. Select the Jump to link or, Go to Federal Taxes. If asked, How do you want to enter your deductions and credits, select I'll choose what I work on...." - - - These did not work for me--I could not find what I was told to look for. I would be ok if I found the form and, when I clicked on it, it told me to check back later, but I am not even finding it. Is it possible that it is not available at all for some TurboTax versions (e.g., my Do-It-Yourself Premium)?

I am using TurboTax 2025 Home & Business. I have located the Energy Efficient Home improvements section but tankless systems are not listed. The only hot water heaters listed are 'geothermal' or 'electric heat pumps'. Would it be included under 'Furnaces and hot water boilers powered by natural gas, propane or oil'? I didn't know if a 'boiler' was something specific and there is another place for tankless. Thanks

Although the forms availability table indicates that Form 4562 is ready to e-file, the final update for depreciation calculations within the software has not been released.
We anticipate the depreciation calculations within the software should be updated after February 13, 2026. Our tech team is working hard to release the updates before that date.
Please be aware that this update will affect depreciation for Schedule E (Rental Properties) only. Schedule C (Self-Employment) was updated previously and should be working in all versions of TurboTax.

Note that whatever amount you gave to your sister-in-law is a gift from you to your sister-in-law. It is not anything that sister-in-law inherited. You were the one who inherited these funds to do with as you choose and you chose to gift a portion to your sister-in-law. If the amount that you gifted to your sister-in-law in 2025 is more than the 2025 gift exclusion of $19,000, you must file a 2025 Form 709 Gift Tax Return.

An irrevocable Trust set, owned by my deceased parents owns a section of real property. The cost basis for the property was determined at the time of the first parent's death sixteen years ago. The second parent died thirteen years ago. The Trust has three beneficiaries. The property includes a rental house and a section of several acres of land in California. The house has provided income from before the death of our parents. Should we leave the property in the Trust to sell it and then distribute the proceeds or should we distribute and split the property three ways to sell it? The selling price of the property will be less than the cost basis. Would the title company typically handle the transfer of the property? I have been filing a simple trust on form 1041 using TurboTax Business for twenty years.

Minnesota (MN) has its own AMT system. The MN Department of Revenue needs a copy of the Federal Form 6251 to be attached to your state return (Schedule M1MT), even if you don't owe federal AMT.
TurboTax usually leaves out Form 6251 if you don’t owe federal AMT. This causes issues with MN e-filing since the state expects that form to be included, even if the software didn’t add it to your filing packet.
Here’s what’s going on. Minnesota law says you must file Schedule M1MT if your income is above certain limits. Form 6251 must be attached to the Schedule to be valid.
To get past this dilemma, you need to tell TurboTax to include that federal form even though it isn't "required" for your federal return. The method is at follows.
If you are using TurboTax Desktop (CD/Download):
This is the easiest version to fix using Forms Mode:
Click the Forms icon (top right).
In the list on the left, find Form 6251 (it may be in italics or under "Worksheets").
Scroll to the very bottom of Form 6251.
Look for a checkbox that says "Print this form for the federal return" or "Include form in e-file even if not required."
Check that box. This "promotes" the form from a background worksheet to a part of your official tax return, which satisfies the MN e-file requirement.
If you are using TurboTax Online:
In the search bar, type "AMT" and click the Jump to AMT link.
Walk through the interview again. Even if it says you don't owe AMT, look for a question that asks if you want to "file Form 6251 anyway" or if you have "out-of-state municipal bond interest" (selecting "yes" to the bond interest often forces the form to generate).
If that doesn't work, you may need to Delete the Minnesota state return and re-add it. When you re-do the MN interview, pay close attention to the "Alternative Minimum Tax" screen. If it asks you to enter values from your federal Form 6251, do not skip this screen—even if the values are zero, entering a "0" can sometimes trigger the form to attach

We anticipate this experience will be resolved after the updates on February 13, 2026. In the meantime, you might test these steps:
If both federal and state returns pass Smart Check, do the following:
Exit TurboTax
Turn off (or pause) your VPN and anti-virus software.
Restart TurboTax and accept updates.
Open your return and run Smart Check again.
Attempt to print Schedules K-1.
