Make sure you have entered your child as a dependent in My Info, and that you have entered the child's Social Security number. Careful— do not say that your child’s SSN is not valid for employment. If your child was born in 2025 make sure you said he lived with you the whole year. There is an oddly worded question that asks if the child paid over half their own support. Say NO to that question.
If your dependent was a full-time college student, make sure you were careful on the MY INFO screen for “Uncommon situations” and that you indicated there that they were a student.
Sometimes it helps to just delete the dependent in MY INFO and then re-enter them from scratch.

at the Federal Review page, I get the following message: "Let's take care of these details now Your to-do list Form W-4 and Estimated Taxes Form W-4 and Estimated Taxes" I have Used Turbo tax since 2021, Self employed since 1995. Paid for TurboTax Online State 2025 $39.00 and TurboTax Online Do It Yourself Premium 2025 $99.00 When I print & save a PDF, Schedule C, SE, etc are included. Why am I being asked for a W4, and what do I need to do to correct this problem? Thank you, Glenn

If your TurboTax advance submission didn't go through, it's often because of eligibility problems.
You should keep in mind that the Refund Advance is a loan and is only approved once the IRS accepts your return.

We see people get confused and they keep logging in to online software which will require them to pay at the end. You need to use the desktop software. One way to tell if you are using the right software---your tool bar. Online software has the toolbar in a black vertical column on the left side of the screen. Desktop software has the tools up on the top of your TT screen.
You appear to be posting from online software instead of the desktop CD/download software that the license code is for. If you are using online, you are using the wrong program. You need to switch to the desktop software to get what you paid for. You have to download it, update it and open it up from your own hard drive to use it.

You should enter the information from your W2 as it is issued to you by your employer. Box 7 on a W2 is used to report Social Security tips.
However, due to the recent changes to reporting "qualified tips" on Form W-2 for the 2025. Some employers are reporting tips on Box 14 and label them as "Tips," "QualTips," or similar. If this is your case, you can use the amount on Box 14 to calculate your deduction.
You will need to enter this amount as "qualified tips," when TurboTax asks for them.

What you may not understand about claiming medical expenses is that there is a very difficult threshold to cross. Only the amount that is over 7.5% of your AGI "counts."
MEDICAL EXPENSES
The medical expense deduction has to meet a rather large threshold before it can affect your return. The amount of medical (including dental, vision, etc.) expenses that will count toward itemization is the amount that is OVER 7.5% of your adjusted gross income. You should only enter the amount that you paid in 2025—do not include any amounts that were covered by insurance or that are still outstanding. Of course, your medical expenses plus your other itemized deductions still have to exceed your standard deduction before you will see a difference in your tax due or refund.
To enter your medical expenses go to Federal>Deductions and Credits>Medical>Medical Expenses
2025 STANDARD DEDUCTION AMOUNTS
SINGLE $15,750 (65 or older/legally blind + $2000)
MARRIED FILING SEPARATELY $15,750 (65 or older/legally blind +1600)
MARRIED FILING JOINTLY $31,500 (65 or older/legally blind + $1600)
HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD $23,625 (65 or older/legally blind + $2000)
