@besquare01 Just the stock transactions? Or are the 1099-INT and 1099-DIV missing too? __________________________________ If NOTHING imported...even though the import was "Supposedly" successful: Doug34 posted the following that worked (but doesn't work with the Brave browser): "I initially ran into the same problem described by others here. The Intuit website declares success, but TurboTax doesn't get the document. In my case this was caused by the fact that I denied the Intuit site permission to access my local network. Choose Allow, and you should be fine. If you already denied permission, you will be stuck until you reset this permission. In Chrome on Windows, you can do this by clicking on the View Site Information icon just to the left of the address bar. Turn on Local Network Access and try again. This solved the problem for me."

You cannot change or add anything on the return that you just e-filed, nor can you stop it. It is too late, just like when you put an envelope in a US mailbox on the corner. The IRS does not allow you to take it back.
If you left out a W-2, a 1099G, or a dependent, or a 1099 etc…DO NOT change your return while it is “pending.” The changes will go nowhere.
Now you have to wait until the IRS either rejects or accepts your return. If your return is rejected, you will be able to go into your account and make the necessary changes to your tax return and re-submit your return.
If the IRS accepts your return, however, then you have to wait longer until it has been fully processed and you have received your refund. THEN you can prepare an amended tax return and e-file or mail it in. You have to be able to work from that return exactly the way it was when it was e-filed originally. You will need to use a form called a 1040X.
Meanwhile, DO NOT go in and start changing anything on your return in the system, or you will make a mess for yourself. Sit tight and wait until you see what the IRS does with the return you just e-filed
The Form 1040X you need becomes available in late February, But wait until your return has been processed.

Hi Mary: I am currently not taking my son as a dependent, because he earned about $6K is AGI and is getting a small refund for the Fed and State. Do I have to take him as dependent in order to deduct the medical expenses, the rehab and doctors need for his conditions were all out of pocket and not reimbursed by insurance. Thank you so much for your assistance, Ray Gorman

If you want to make changes to a tax return that has already been filed and accepted by the taxing agency, you should follow these guidelines.
You must first wait until the initial return is completely processed.
You will have to use the same TurboTax account that you used for the original tax return.
Once you begin your amendment, you'll see your original return.
The refund calculator will start at $0 and only reflect the changes in the refund or tax due
Only make changes to the areas of your return that need to be corrected.
You have three years from the date you filed your return or two years after you paid the tax due (whichever is later) to file an amendment
Select your product below and follow the instructions.

Thank you very much for this clear explanbation. I wish this was more straight forward! Two things: --The Smart Check failed because it didn't haver the dates for the transaction, but I'm going to put in the approximate date I paid for the tickets and the final sales date since I sold a bunch of them. --I just realized I was inputting tickets I had sold at the end of the 2025 regggular season in 2026, and not including the one I sold in January for a loss. I'll remove the former and add the latter, and see if I can get these numbers to add up. Thank you very much for the quick response and I'll post when I get TT to accept it.
