If the pass through entities are represented on the K-1 then you only should be entering the information from this K-1. If you need to enter the pass through entity information then you would need to create K-1s for each of them in order to have that income/expense amount entered separately.
When entering K-1s you can enter as many as you need. If you do the math to separate the income for all three of these entities then you can enter each as though you had received a separate K-1 even though the total of all three will just add up to the amounts on the one K-1 that you received.

I received income tax computation notice from Maryland state. I have overpayment but they calculated that there is interest for underpayment of estimated tax, so my refund is less than my overpayment after paying for the interest. I am very confused about this. My MD withheld plus the estimated tax payment is more than my tax, why I get charged for interest. For example, my withheld was 21K and I also paid $5k estimated tax, my tax was 25k, so I should be getting 1K refund, but instead they charged me for $80 interest. Any thought?

If you are looking for amnesty from the SDOP program I would include all relevant information with the submission. Showing that you have satisfied the FBAR requirements sure can't hurt.

!!!SOLVED - EUREKA!!!!! After 2 hours of searching, I finally found my files in my ... (rolldrum) PC admin account. It seems like Turbotax software decided on it's own to move my tt24 files from C:\Users\*myusername*\Documents\TurboImpôt to C:\Users\*adminaccount*\Documents\TurboImpôt without any kind of warning. The only thing I found was the shortcut to my original files in *recent files* pointing to C:\Users\*myusername*\Documents\TurboImpôt\2024\ but the folder was empty. This is explaining why windows could not find them: -searches done thru my user account can't see admin files -windows file recovery showed no files, because no files were actually deleted, they were moved -undelete thru recuva was unsuccessfull because the files were not deleted but moved I have now setup a strong automated backup option (using mega.nz) to save all my files.

No way is it the same as eating a one place and then going to another. It's more like an ordered this, they can't fulfill the order because they can't accommodate my special requests after they already said they would when I paid. Not my fault I had to go somewhere else to accommodate me. That response is laughable.

Some AMT items do require manual entry. If you have not triggered the AMT the system may not walk you through all of them.

Yes. You can have extra taxes withheld from one person to cover the tax liability of your spouse as long as you will DEFINITELY be married filing jointly for the next year. When married filing jointly your income and taxes withheld are all combined for your federal return, so it does not matter who pays more during the year. However, if for any reason you would end up filing separate returns, the person who did not have enough withheld would have a tax penalty for underpayment. If you were going to do it, then yes, you would add additional allowances as necessary. You wouldn't be able to necessarily decrease the other persons withholding too much as the least withheld would be married filing jointly with claiming dependents for child tax credits.

Every IRS action takes 2 to 9 weeks. That's assuming there's somebody home.

We moved from Illinois to Arizona in 2022. For that year, and that year only, we needed to apportion the retirement income to the two states. Using TurboTax for that year we apportioned the 1099-R income based on the date of the move between the two states. We filed state returns for both states. In 2024, we received the 1099-R from a provider of my wife's pension that was sent to our Illinois address and forwarded. Its state was still listed as Illinois. We filed the taxes for 2023 crediting that income to Arizona regardless of what the 1099-R said. I didn't think much about it and we had no problem with Illinois over this. But my wife did call the provider to let them know that we had moved. This call was made on April 12, 2024. In 2025, we received TWO 1099-Rs from this provider, one for Illinois and one from Arizona, apportioned as if the move occurred on April 12, 2024. The provider seems to have assumed that this was the date of the move. Not knowing what to do about this, I filed for an extension and paid what was due to the IRS and Arizona. Since then, I've been trying to get the provider to issue a corrected 1099-R. This they have absolutely refused to do. The issue has escalated to higher levels of the company. They are not going to budge, though they now acknowledge that we live in Arizona and will handle this correctly in the future. So my question is, do I fill out forms for both 1099-Rs and simply assign them to Arizona regardless of what the 1099-Rs say, or must I do something else?

I filed an amended return for 2024,the IRS tried too post my refund on April 21 and it didn't post because I had insuffent funds it returned it to the IRS on April 22nd. I called because I had to verify my id and everything, and I asked do y'all automatically send a check if bank account rejected they said yes. Takes 9 weeks. I've changed my bank information it doesn't have insuffent funds but it has no money in it I'm in between jobs... So I told the IRS I read online that they automatically do that and they said yes they do.. so do I need to take action and do anything else just really stressed with bills and everything due so do I need to take further action in doing anything else?
