@etheric333   If you owe tax due, you have to pay it yourself by the filing deadline on April 15, 2025 or you are subject to late filing penalties and interest.      If you have federal tax due you can pay by mailing your payment with the 1040V voucher, (which has the address printed on it, having the payment taken out of a designated bank account, or you can pay directly on the IRS website.    https://www.irs.gov/payments     https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/tax-payments/help/how-can-i-pay-my-federal-taxes/00/26212     https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/tax-payments/help/how-do-i-pay-my-irs-tax-due-with-a-check-or-money-order/00/26403      To apply for a payment plan with the IRS   Apply Online for a Payment Plan     You must pay your state tax due using the state’s preferred method of receiving payment.  For most states that will be by making a payment to the state’s own tax website, or by mailing a check or money order.     https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/state-taxes/contact-state-department-revenue/L9qVToi02_US_en_US?uid=m6e06um0   WHAT IF I CANNOT PAY MY TAX DUE? https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-payments/pay-taxes/L8aQBCpPO_US_en_US?uid=m9iryksw

@kelseaparker16 Once you file your tax return, TurboTax is finished.   TT gets no information from the IRS or your state after you file.   It is up to you to track your own refund on the IRS or state refund sites.   First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:  https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/   Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control.  TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.   You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2024 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:    https://www.irs.gov/refunds   To track your state refund:     https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/track-state-refund/L3jgO8PGs_US_en_US?uid=lt447ebr

PDF or paper copy  (or IRS transcript) of your originally filed tax return is required to amend properly. The Schedule C will show the expenses you deducted. You reenter those the best you can.   IRS will give you paper copy of prior returns for a $43 or $30 fee, depending on which webpage you look at. It's not clear how long you will wait for it. @sept031989
Yes, if you owe less than $25,000 in California taxes, you can apply for a payment plan. See California Tax Payment Plans.

If you chose to pay your TurboTax fees from your federal refund then your refund goes first to a third party bank.   That bank takes out the fees you owe to TurboTax, sends it to TT, takes the "refund processing fee of $40 ($45 in CA) for itself, and sends the rest of the refund to your bank account.   How can I see my TurboTax  fees?    https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/intuit-account-billing/review-fees-turbotax-online/L1XnIzgzg_US_en_US?uid=m682vq7k   What is Refund Processing Service?     Santa Barbara Tax Products Group, LLC  (SBTPG) is the bank that handles the Refund Processing Service when you choose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your refund. This option also has an additional charge from the bank that processes the transaction.    You can contact them SBTPG, toll-free, at 1-877-908-7228 or go to their secure website www.sbtpg.com      Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities.  There is no rule as to which one will come in first or how long it will be between their arrival in your account.   TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer.  “21 days”  is not a promise from TurboTax or the IRS.      First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:  https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/   Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control.  TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. You can visit the MN Where's My Refund page to track the status of your refund which would have included your renters rebate.
Yes, indeed. Amazon keeps your purchased digital products as long as your account is active. Costco had a better promotional price, but it's not worth the troubles that I went through.

You received an email that we cannot see that tells you why your tax return was rejected.   Some rejected returns can be fixed and re-filed.  Some have “un-fixable” reasons for the rejection and have to be mailed instead.    What is the rejection code or rejection message?     If it was rejected for AGI—-your 2023 AGI might not be in the IRS system if you filed late.   Try using zero instead.   If filing with zero is rejected then file again but select the option that you did not file last year.  The IRS does not see that question and it will allow you to e-file with no AGI question.     https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/agi/help/where-do-i-correct-my-agi-in-turbotax-online/00/26311   If that does not work and you still cannot e-file, then print, sign, and mail your tax return.
What exactly do you need help with? Preparing an amended return or actually filing it?  Please include which version of TurboTax you are using: TurboTax Online or TurboTax for Desktop?

Thanks @DawnC , the link you provided got me one step closer. Unfortunately, when I entered the 2021 license code that I received from Costco, it gave me an error "We hit a snag loading your data." I did double check the code to make sure it's correct.     When I tried the license codes for the other years (2024, 2023, etc.), I instead got a message, "This license code has already been associated with an account. Please check that account and look for it in Downloads" -- which is correct, as I can see these other years' products under my Downloads tab. Only the 2021 license code doesn't work.

Yes. As DawnC posted earlier, you can download your prior year ".tax2022" file under Your tax returns & documents on the Tax Home page (scroll to the bottom). Choose the year then click on Download .tax file.   Note that this file will reflect the final version of your tax return. If you amended that year, the tax file will include the amended changes.   @sept031989
