Once your return is filed, TurboTax has no control over the processing of your return or the release of your refund.   Here are a couple FAQs to track your refund: When will I get my federal tax refund? How do I track my state refund? Why does Where's My Refund say "approved" but TurboTax still says "accepted"? Why do some refunds take longer than others? What if my IRS refund is taking longer than 21 days?
Same question please can’t you understand? What else do I need to do?
You will enter the 1099-R and then answer the follow-up questions. You can indicate that you rolled it to an HSA.
Can I still pay my 1Q estimated taxes today? I have already e-filed.

This doesn't seem to help. When I went to pay, the option for a 1040 Schedule C wasn't there.

You should check with your financial institution but you most likely will get a 2025 Form 1099-R with codes 8 and J since you made the contribution in 2025 for 2024. Does it give you a reason for not being able to efile?
Make a payment at the IRS website.  https://www.irs.gov/payments
When the e-filed extension is Accepted or Rejected by the IRS, you will receive an email from TurboTax.

Yes, you do need the 1099R and it has to be entered .   Contact the financial institution that manages the retirement plan to see how to get the 1099R.  You might be able to import it or print it from their website.   To enter your retirement income, Go to  Federal> Wages and Income>Retirement Plans and Social Security>IRA  401 k) Pension Plan Withdrawals to enter your 1099R.     You had tax withheld from the distributions from the retirement account, just like when an employer withheld tax from your paychecks.  When you enter it all into the software, the calculations are done to reconcile the amount of income you received and the amount of tax that was withheld.  You might owe more or you might get a refund.
We'd love to help you complete your tax return, but need more information. Can you please clarify your question?

So, are you on Medicare now?   "Seems like it is too late to take out the excess contribution for 2024 taxes" NO, it's not.  1. Go look at your HSA custodian's website to see if you can request a "withdrawal of excess contributions" online. If you can, print off the request and put it in your tax files. If you request the withdrawal by April 15th, then you can argue that you made a good faith effort to comply with the rules. 2. Alternatively, file an extension today (like right now). If you file an extension, then you have until October 15th to withdraw the excess contribution.   From Pub 969 (page 8 ): You may withdraw some or all of the excess contributions and avoid paying the excise tax on the amount withdrawn if you meet the following conditions.  • You withdraw the excess contributions by the due date, including extensions, of your tax return for the year the contributions were made. Then, if you file for an extension, you have six months to straighten this out.
No. You have to add MAX prior to filing.
