Noticed, this for the first time last year, so corrected it. Checked 2022 return and it had the same problem.  Not sure how many previous years this was happening that didn’t notice.

Just wanted to comment that turning off Windows Defender firewall helped me get through the import.  Also I'd like to mention that for whatever reason I needed to type the doc ID in CAPS, whereas I don't think that was an issue regarding cap sensitivity in previous years.
Confused that TurboTax only refers to Roth and Traditional IRAs, nothing about Simple IRAs.

Did you guys have someone write this year's TurboTax that doesn't have it edit checked? I do not have a refund coming but instead of it just filing my return as agreed, it wants me to pay with a federal return a $40 Refund Processing Fee or Credit Card in order to move forward??!! Last phrase says: "Must e-file federal return. $40 Refund Processing Fee" ????? What does that mean?

I removed it from my Federal but my State return keeps showing it and is hindering me from completion. Help please!
@nitramxxx   Didn’t you get a screen like the one I posted above showing the amount?  You must be in California.  In California it is $45 (not 40) to have the $15 fee deducted from your refund.

Question regarding filling personal information out on my taxes. I know my family claimed me as a dependent which is fine, but I also did work part-time in school and used this money to pay for things (groceries, rent, gas, etc). I selected the option:   I was a full-time student. Did you support yourself? Yes   Followed by: Another taxpayer can claim me as a dependent on their tax return (and will this year) : yes.   Will my first response conflict with my tax return? Should I still select I did not support myself because of my status as a dependent? I just want to avoid having my return or my family's return rejected. Thanks in advance.
If you transferred your 2023 info into 2024, this would be correct.   However, you can look at a copy of your 2023 return to verify this.     Check Form 1040, Line 12.   @mychulas
