You can change your answers in the Retirement & Investments - Deductions & Credits section.   When you click on Start or Review there is a screen with boxes.  If you do not have an IRA account, make sure there are no checkboxes selected.   The next screen asks if you made contributions.   Answer NO.   You can delete the IRA Contribution Worksheet also.     How to delete forms in TurboTax Online   How to delete forms in TurboTax Desktop

I am a home health nurse and I travel daily. I am too far away from home to return to my home to make a meal for myself and then continue with my visits on a daily basis. It is more logical for me to grab something to eat in between visiting patients as opposed to adding even more miles just to go home to eat. Can I put just one entry for my meal expenses or do I need to itemize day by day?
It depends which product that you have.   TurboTax Online will prepare and e-file only one tax return.   TurboTax Desktop may file as many as five tax returns.

TurboTax is not setup to handle multiple school district returns.  You can try these steps provide by RobertB4444 "TurboTax is not set up to help you prepare multiple SD100s so you will have to trick it into it.   Enter SD4201 into the federal return.  Go through the entire return process as though you were only filing one school district return.   After you have completed everything then go back in the federal return and change the school district.  This should have no effect on anything except the SD100 form.   Change your estimated payment and print out and mail the second school district return."   See the link below for more information:   SD100
I'm glad you were able to fix it manually and move on with your taxes.  I hope TT fixes this for next year so we don't have to manually fix things.

Just to make you aware: Use the same filing status for California that you used for your federal income tax return.   Exception: If you file a joint tax return for federal purposes, you may file separately for California if either spouse was either of the following: An active member of the United States armed forces or any auxiliary military branch during 2024. A nonresident for the entire year and had no income from California sources during 2024. Community Property States: If the spouse earning the California source income is domiciled in a community property state, community income will be split equally between the spouses. Both spouses will have California source income and they will not qualify for the nonresident spouse exception. Instruction Booklet for form 540

If those lines were blank last year, your best option is to remove any amounts from those lines and leave them both blank. Alternatively, try entering a zero for both lines.
I was struggling with the same problem.  Thanks so much for your explanation.

Line 8 is from the smart worksheet above it. If you had withdrawals for which you received a prior year deduction, it should be added back.
