If you have already entered your 1099-MISC and this is for self-employment business expenses, you can use the steps here below to get to the section to enter those expenses. You will need to be in TurboTax Self-Employed online version for this.
Just make sure that you to enter all of your 1099-MISC, 1099-K, cash, and personal check income from your self-employment before you associate any expenses with your business.
You can enter your vehicle mileage, home office expenses, and other common business expenses, by following the steps here below:
- Log into your account and click orange Take me to my return button
- Type Schedule C in the Search box in top right corner
- Choose jump to Schedule C and select Add expenses for this work (or Edit and scroll down until you see Business Expenses)
