Form 8853, Long-Term Care Insurance Contracts is scheduled to be available in TurboTax on 03/17/2022

Turbo Tax should refund the cost of its software to customers for not having forms such as 8853 ready until March 31 (maybe). It's not like long-term care is something completely new.

The updated date is now 3/17/22 per the update to TT.  Don't any hold their breath on this..

I appreciate TT's "great" communication in this string.  :(  I'll make note of this for next year...HR Block, here I come.

I gave up on TT on 2/24 because of this missing form. Filed with Block - and my refund is in my account today! If I had waited for TT, I still wouldn't have even filed, let alone received my refund! No more TT for me!

I did the same. Filed with Block on 2/22 and the refund posted to my account on 3/9.

Come on, people!  You had updated saying that the form would be ready today and now it’s tomorrow??  The IRS hasn’t approved the software?  I want ANSWERS!!

Feb 18, then the end of March.  Then Mar 17 and now Mar 18.  What's next?  Tells me they really don't know and shouldn't make promises they are not going to keep.

Exactly how does one determine availability of Form 8853 p2 from this link you provided. 

GIVE A DETAILED STEP BY STEP TO GET IT. I CANNOT READILY FIND ANY INFO.

Mine became available today.  I was able to finish and file online by picking up where I left off

If you allow your TurboTax software to update when you open it, I think you will find that the form is now available.
