Spouse LLC will file for bankruptcy - should i file separately?

Normally the llc has its own set of protections against creditors going after personal property but I wonder if they try going after my spouse personal property In a lawsuit , they’d try to get my stuff/money etc.

Would filing separately help get (more) protection?
also, in any bankruptcy lawsuit style scenario, how many years of taxes do the courts ask for?

(In N.C.).

Which state is involved here?

In Florida, for example, single-member LLCs are afforded almost no protection from personal liability.

you need to confer with a bankruptcy attorney familiar with taxes in your state who will look over your entire situation.
