This error continues. Very frustrating and makes for very poor turbotax experience.

I am not using the online version or Business but rather Turbo Tax Premier desktop version on a Windows 10 Dell 9370 XPS. It only happens on Chase so I presume its and issue between Chase and Turbo Tax. Not sure which party is responsible. I gave up and am sending in details or trades on the 1099B to the IRS as required. It would have been easier to download the details and there were too many transactions to enter manually. Hopefully this issue will be solved for next year. Unfortunately, there didn't seem to be anywhere to go for help this year, as these posts did not help solve the issue for me.
This happened to me last year, also with Chase. No help from Turbotax. I stumbled upon the resolution. Maybe it will help you. I have quite a few accounts with Chase. When I went to the automatic download I clicked everything knowing some of these accounts didn't generate tax forms and I kept getting an error. Only when I selected the accounts I knew had tax forms, and no others, did it go through. I hope this will help your problem
I have the same problem with jp Morgan and Wells Fargo. The new procedure is useless. back to manual entry. Also, when I loaded turbotax for 2023 it only updated part pf the 2022 info. Any way to fix this?
If you are unable to successfully import transactions from your financial institution, remember that you can always enter a Summary in lieu of individual transactions.
How to Enter a Summary in Lieu of Individual Transactions
Here's more info on Unable to Import and Import Issues.
Remember that many people have no trouble importing; however, everyone's computer/internet configurations are different, so there are an infinite number of reasons why you may not be able to do so.
If you Contact TurboTax Support they may be able to help you, since they are able to get into your computer.
Thanks, I did enter summaries and then had to send the 1099B's to the IRS. I did not try to contact an expert and perhaps that would have helped. Already filed, but will try that if I have problems in the future.
Thanks I think I only had account checked that had tax forms but am not 100% sure. Will watch for that in the future, as I filed. Thanks
I am having the same problem - just with a different bank. My brokerage account imports just fine. I also am having a problem manually entering my Credit Union which is not in the drop down list. I had no trouble doing this last year.
I have the same problem when I try to import my data tax return 2022 to start my new 2023 tax return doesn't exist!!!
Help
This is a known issue. follow this link for updates: Why are some TurboTax customers unable to transfer last year's return into TurboTax?
Yes. I have the same problem with getting the data from Fidelity, except I don't get an error. It just tells me "Success" and sends me back to Turbotax, But it doesn't seem that it has imported anything.
