I am trying to file my business taxes via Turbotax Business 2020 (Windows 10 download edition).
I get all the way to the end to efile and turbotax states,
"You cannot e-file this tax return because the Intuit Electronic Filing Center is not open for the season yet. We accept 2020 Federal Partnership tax returns from beginning of tax season to end of tax season. We'll see you then! You cannot e-file this tax return because the Intuit Electronic Filing Center is not open for the season yet. We accept 2020 Maryland Partnership tax returns from beginning of tax season to end of tax season. We'll see you then!"
How can this even be possible? It's Feb 12 2021 and Intuit isn't open for tax season????

That form just gives you a phone number to call with an over 30 min wait time... Is there a live chat feature or something online? It's all done I would just like to be able to hit the submit button and it work! Turbotax personal works just fine.
Same thing happened last year from what I can tell. Took a few days to fix. I am glad to see that Intuit can learn from the past... or maybe not. Support link doesn't lead anywhere and the phone is jammed, any other thoughts on how to fix this fairly important part of E-Filing a tax return.
And yes tried the uninstall and reinstall. That did not fix it either.
Same thing with corporate return in Turbo Tax Business (a Windows-only product). Agree - it is sad (pitiful even?) that Intuit's TurboTax team cannot learn from having the same issue in past years. Today is the official start of filing and Intuit isn't ready?
Will wait a few days or a week, which is what it took last year.
PS@DoninGA - before you copy/paste the same reply again to this thread: did you notice this is for the TT Business product, NOT the personal 1040 product. The e-file process is not handled the same by Intuit servers. Do you know for a fact that the business efile center is really accepting corporate returns?
Same issue here with TurboTax Business for S Corp
Just got off the phone with a Tax Pro who stated their systems are overwhelmed right now with how many millions of filers they have today. That to wait for late tonight or tomorrow, once the volume slows down...
Been trying to submit my Federal Partnership return on Turbotax Business 2020 since 8 am this morning. TurboTax originally blamed the IRS saying the forms weren't all available, but none of the unavailable forms were being used in my tax return. Then they blamed my computer. Now they are blaming their own servers...
Same here.

Yup, working now - my e-file went through.
Yep I have the same problem. Program goes around in circles. Over an hour wait on helpline. This is disappointing. Will file with someone else if this is how is goes.
The IRS web site states they are open to take in electronic filing as of February 12, 2021...Intuit saying wait 48 hours. What gives??
irs e-file acceptance open per THEIR site...Let's go Turbo Tax..You've had my taxes there weeks...I'm trying to get 2020 filed before 1.9T tax stimulus and you need to get on the ball
