What is your question? You still fill out Schedule C as always. The W2 is personal income, it doesn't go on Schedule C.
To Add a W2 enter it under
Federal Taxes on the left side
Wages & Income
Then Wages and Salaries- Click the Start or Update button
Then if you are married you should have 2 buttons...Add w-2 for (taxpayer name) and Add w-2 for (spouse name). Click on the correct button to add a W-2.
My question is that it takes me to forms to fill out a 1099 which I don't need I just need to file the schedule c and the W2. I don't know how to file it as just the schedule c.
c and the W2. I don't know how to file it as just the schedule c.
I'm sorry I don't understand. What wants you to fill out a 1099?
Just enter your schedule C income as Other self employment income or as Cash or General income. You don't need to get a 1099NEC or 1099K. Even if you did you can enter all your income as Cash. Only the total goes to schedule C. How to enter income from Self Employment
But the W2 is not Schedule C income. It goes under personal income. All your info and income including the Schedule C goes on your personal 1040 tax return.
Your question lacks the needed clarity and is leaving the reader guessing on just "exactly" what the issue is that you are experiencing. So what are you doing, and what happens when you do it, that either you don't understand or doesn't make sense?
