We have not yet received confirmation from the IRS on whether they will be putting stimulus payments on prepaid debit cards. 

However, we have noticed that the IRS has started depositing stimulus payments on some prepaid debit cards for taxpayers that chose to receive their refund through that method in tax year 2019 or 2018. 

If you received your refund on a prepaid debit card in tax year 2019 or 2018, here is what you need to know:

• I have access to my debit card: If you have access to your debit card (most people), there is nothing more you need to do. If the IRS deposits a stimulus payment onto your prepaid debit card, you will be able to immediately use the stimulus funds upon deposit.
• I don’t have access to my debit card: If you received a notification that you will be receiving your stimulus payment from the IRS on your prepaid debit card and no longer have access to it, we will have information coming shortly. We encourage you to visit this site, where we are continually updating with the latest information and guidance. We know everyone is anxious to get their stimulus money and we are committed to helping our customers get access to their stimulus payment as fast as possible.

The IRS should be launching a tracking tool called “Get My Payment” by April 17. The tool will give people an idea on when they can expect a deposit or a check in the mail.

I hope to see my money on the card. That's the way I file. Please give me my money on my TurboTax card. So I hope you all have all my information. Because I find nowhere to put my account number or routing number. So u all have all that information. I need my money please

there's a lot of talk about if we will get it on our turbo tax card its what o used for my taxes and all kind of people are saying yes even posting pictures of there turbo tax card pending info for the stimulus check bit nothing set in stone has anyone gotten it on there turbo tax cards yet please let me know because I have not. No pending status or nothing.

The IRS has created a Get My Payment portal to track the progress of these payments for taxpayers. It is expected to be available beginning April 17, 2020.

• I no longer have access to my Turbo Visa Debit Card: If you no longer have access to your Turbo Visa Debit Card, don’t worry. If you have registered your card and know your login credentials, you can request a replacement card by signing in to your Turbo Visa Debit Card account (https://secure.turbodebitcard.intuit.com/account/report-lost-or-stolen). If you don’t know your account login information, call 888-285-4169 for assistance. You will not be charged for a replacement card or check; standard fees will be waived or refunded to you.

i filed my taxes through turbotax but received my 2020 taxes on a credit karma card. Will my stimulus come on that card?

We’re doing everything we can to make sure eligible taxpayers get their stimulus checks. We have been working closely with the IRS and have confirmed with them that they have accurate banking information for all TurboTax filers.

In January 2020, during the distribution of the second round of stimulus payments, an IRS error caused delays in the distribution of some stimulus payments. 

In an effort to do all that we could to help these customers get the funds they deserved as quickly as possible, we were able to create a secure portal used to update banking information. 

However, this portal and the information submitted is not able to be used by the IRS for this third round of stimulus payments.

The IRS has indicated they’re using the latest taxpayer information they have on file to issue the third stimulus payment. That means they are sending your stimulus payment to one of the following:

• Bank account information from the direct deposit of your 2019 or 2020 tax refund,
• Bank account information you entered on your non-filer registration in 2020,
• Bank account information you entered on Get My Payment before December 22, 2020, or
• Banking information used by a federal agency that provides you benefits such as the Social Security Administration, Veteran Affairs, or the Railroad Retirement Board.

If you didn’t update your information with the IRS, they will issue your payment using the latest information they have in your file, not the information you provided to the TurboTax portal.
