Your return is still in pending on the server because the IRS will not begin to accept/reject/process returns until January 27. Only a few returns were accepted early in a test batch. Everyone else has to wait.
So watch your emails and spam folder to make sure you know after Jan. 27 if your return was accepted or rejected.
If your federal return was actually accepted, it was in a small test batch. Are you confusing that with an email telling you the return was "transmitted?"
Your state return cannot be accepted unless your federal return has been accepted.
TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer.
Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.
