Here is a work around a user supplied:

Are you getting the spinning beach ball or does the print button not turn blue and allow you to print? Which MAC OS are you using?
A few things you can try
First, the standard. Make sure you TurboTax program is up to date. To do this Select TurboTax at the top of the screen then Check for Updates
Second, Restart your computer
Third, Make sure you have the printer selected and not the PDF file or Secure Print
If you are only trying to print certain forms
Thank you for your suggestions for my print problem. Here are my responses.
I get the spinning ball and the blue print line scrolling back and forth and then I hear a "pop" and it stops. It does not send the document to the printer and nothing shows in the print queue. The printer is working and I can print other documents from this Mac.
I have exited Turbo Tax and restarted the Mac several times.
I am using MacOS Ventura 13.7.3. The Mac is up to date.
Turbo Tax is up to date; I've checked for updates several times.
I have tried to print the active form, as well as the full tax returns with supporting documents for my records. It will not print.
I have saved the tax returns as a pdf and that will print from the Mac, but there are other forms not included in the pdf that I want to print and cannot.
I have used Turbo Tax on this Mac for years and am quite familiar with it. I've never had trouble printing.
I did see an online conversation and others apparently have reported this same problem (blue line, spinning ball, then "pop") to you beginning 1/30/25.
Having the same issue on iMac . After hitting print a screen quickly pops up but disappears and nothing happens . I see everyone is having same issue. Is there a fix from TurboTax?

Did you try saving the return as a PDF, then printing the PDF?
If the PDF of the full return lacks any specific form you need, you can go into Forms Mode, bring up that form and save the form as a PDF, too (I assume--I use the Windows version that has that capability).

In the Mac version, when you choose to save the PDF, does it ask if you want the basic return in the PDF or if you also want to included all forms and worksheets? In the Windows versions there are some choices as to what to include in the PDF.

(I assume Mac version can save a single form to PDF--I use the Windows version that has that capability). I know it's clumsy to have to do that for the additional forms you want.
I have tried all of your suggestions as well as the community member suggestions. I still can’t print.
This sounds like a turbo tax glitch for Macs. Please send this to your IT team and correct the issue. I will think twice before buying Turbo Tax next year if you can’t fix this problem.
Thank you.
No, thanks for the suggestion, but I’ve tried and I can’t pdf a single page.
Really, Turbo Tax just needs to fix this. The version I bought was for Windows and Macs. It should print properly like it has in all the other years I’ve used it.
I have the same problem (Brother printer rather than Epson). Turbotax support gave me an incredibly cumbersome workaround- go to print the entire return, select preview, export the preview to pdf, open adobe, print the specific page you want. Every time you make any change or addition to the return yo have to go through the entire process. Tech said no one else was having the problem!
Sam problem.. Tech says no one else is having the problem. Promised to send it up the chain. Awful.
And I have been using Turbotax since it was Macintax- 30 years.
This of us ( Mac users, apparently) also cannot save as pdf. the cumbersome workaround given by Turbotax tech was to go to print, choose preview. wait for that, then save the preview as a pdf, which is can do, and then open Adobe, and print the page you want- and if you make any changes to your return, start over. ARRGH!
But as far as I can tell, the pdf only includes the tax return, not the supporting forms. So I still can’t print the extra forms. I’ve given up at this point and filed my taxes.
After all the years I’ve used turbo tax on a Mac, it’s extremely disappointing that turbo tax is apparently not taking this problem seriously and correcting it.
If you want to print your entire return (or save as PDF) all of the forms and schedules that TurboTax created, using TurboTax for Mac, with a return open in the program:
Selecting "All forms & schedules" will produce copies of all of the documents TurboTax has created.
4. Click Continue
5. Review the choices in the print menu. To print to PDF, choose "PDF" in the lower left corner of the print window.
I am unable to test with a printer at this time, but was able to create a complete PDF file including supporting worksheets with my Mac, which should be able to print just as any other PDF file.
None of that works. There is no drop down menu under file, just a button that says "Print Returns" If I select that the print progress bar comes up, goes back and forth for 5 seconds, then goes POP and nothing else happens. There is no choice to do anything else.
Just checked again and no updates, Turbotax is up to date.
Please fix your software.
I agree. The drop down menu is how it has worked in prior years. This year there is a glitch and Turbo Tax needs to correct it.
