I have used TurboTax several times and this time I have had nothing but issues that cannot be resolved by the people that I have paid to take care of my taxes and now I find out are actually supported by the areas and are a branch of the IRS therefore I am very upset that I was duped into paying for tax services that do not do anything for me. And that I am completely eligible for free tax services via the IRS/intuit but no one at your company and nothing made sure I was aware of that. And when it comes to representing me and answering my questions when it comes to my taxes and our ass TurboTax is completely useless and cannot answer any of my questions so I still have not received my refund and still have no idea why although the treasury department website shows that everything has been accepted. I would not recommend this service to anyone and will positively discriminate against TurboTax in the future.

Waiting is frustrating—refunds are taking longer in many cases. These are not normal times. It is not possible for TurboTax to speed up the IRS for you. The IRS is short staffed; and they are processing millions of tax returns at the same time that they have been burdened with the task of processing millions of stimulus checks.
To check on regular tax refund status via automated phone, call 800-829-1954. (This line has no information on Economic Impact Payments.)

TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer. Many refunds are taking longer during the pandemic.
Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 20 of your Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

FYI ... if you want to use one of the IRS FREE FILE partner options then YOU must link in thru the IRS FREE FILE link ... and none of the 10 partners will tell you on their paid income tax site that you can get the program for free elsewhere no more than your local grocery store will tell you where the free food pantries are as both are for profit companies who like to keep their shareholders happy. And nowhere in the IRS agreement to provide a free file option is there a requirement to do so. Intuit is NOT part of the IRS nor are any of the other income tax programs.
For 2019 .. if your AGI was $69K or less then there is at least one FREE FILE option available to you ... the FREE FILE site doesn't come online until sometime in mid January and closes 10/15 every year ... https://www.irs.gov/filing/free-file-do-your-federal-taxes-for-free
Very deceptive on how they handle your payment from the IRS
