TPG is holding funds, TT unable to be reached

Similar issue for me. It is VERY CLEAR that turbotax does NOT want to address this issue one on one with its customers. A shame, I have been a customer for nearly 10 years, but I think its time to find another service. I was quoted a refund that was roughly $1500 more than I actually received. Why my federal return was accepted by the IRS only to be drastically changed, I do not know. The clusterf*ck created by our government/cdc over the last couple of years, and the following stimulus payments/child credit payments are likely to blame, however I filled out all the information correct according to the IRS records I have, so it is VERY disappointing that turbotax would be so blatantly WRONG about my refund. They had a month to contact me about the discrepancy, but of course they never did. I am a very displeased customer who will be using another service after this. Hopefully I can find one that is honest.

I have the same problem Irs made refund deposit on 2nd of March. But nothing has been deposited in my bank. I have been using turbotax for years and have never had this problem. I've been calling and getting the run around! If this issue is not resolved quickly this be the last time i using turbotax. And everyone that I know that uses turbotax will be changing tax services!

I am experiencing this same exact issue! IRS online shows that my refund was sent 02/24/2022, I contacted my bank and no transfer was ever initiated and my routing information I’ve had since filing my taxes the first year (10years ago) has never changed. I am unable to reach anyone through turbo tax, even though I have the “talk to a tax specialists” now feature and only shows an error message every time I try it. I  beyond frustrated and not in a situation where my funds can be withheld from me. I need answers and my money and am getting nowhere! I’ve always rethought TurboTax was very user friendly and recommended others use it but never again! I want answers, and want a person to speak with. This is ridiculous.

I will NOT file with them next year; I am in the same boat.  My cousin filed with H&R Block the same day when she received notification (where's my refund) of the date it would be sent, it was in her bank account.  I AM DONE WITH TURBO TAX.

The IRS approved our refund of 4,600. TPG only sent 2,500. Where is the rest of our refund?

Hi. I received an email IRS saying my refund got approved and is to be sent to bank on the March 23, 2022. I checked my account and only received 60 from TPG. My refund is to be $1880.82. IRS said if I don’t receive it by March 28, 2022 to contact them. My question is why did I only receive $60? And not to mention when I call TPG or go on the website it says that my SSI number is invalid.  can you help me understand what exactly is going on here? Something is not right.

I think a class action suit might be brewing here. My funds were deposited by the IRS days ago but still not in my account. Credit Karma keeps saying that its the IRS fault. Obviously not, they have my correct deposit information. Something is going on here with TT and Credit Karma because when I go to Credit Karmas website there are hundreds of people with the same issue. Ive been using TT for over 10 years and this is the first time Ive had this issue. The only difference is  I bought their claims that Credit Karma would be a great account and said I would get my funds early. Well here we all are without our refunds. Ive been calling Credit Karma everday and each rep is just reading a script and even talks over me when Im telling them that the IRS states the funds should be there. I smell a scam…

Exactly! No direct answers just scripts. I even paid for the max benefits to be able to get help from these TT tax advisors and there’s literally no one to talk to.

I would like a response back please you guys or tpg took 2800 dollars of my tax return. You should be ashamed of yourself. That equates to robbery and I cant get anyone at tt or tpg to answer my calls.

Does the IRS website indicate that you were sent less than what was reported on your federal tax return Form 1040 Line 34? - https://www.irs.gov/refunds

If your refund is short $2,800 then that is because you said you did not receive the 3rd stimulus payment and the IRS has records that show you were sent the 3rd stimulus payment so they removed the $2,800 Recovery Rebate Credit that was entered on Form 1040 Line 30.

Go to this IRS website for your tax account to see if the 3rd stimulus payment is entered - https://www.irs.gov/payments/your-online-account
If you are Married Filing Jointly also check your spouse's tax account.

If you checked your bank account in the March - May 2021 timeframe and there is not a $2,800 EIP3 payment from the IRS then go to this IRS website for how to start a trace on the payment - https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/questions-and-answers-about-the-third-economic-impact-payment-topic-j-p...

When is this issue going be resolved? I will never again use tt you guys are a scam and outright robbing people. Claiming its a rebate recovery from the stimulus. The stimulus isn’t taxable income so that’s a blatant lie. I want the rest of my return
