Similar issue for me. It is VERY CLEAR that turbotax does NOT want to address this issue one on one with its customers. A shame, I have been a customer for nearly 10 years, but I think its time to find another service. I was quoted a refund that was roughly $1500 more than I actually received. Why my federal return was accepted by the IRS only to be drastically changed, I do not know. The clusterf*ck created by our government/cdc over the last couple of years, and the following stimulus payments/child credit payments are likely to blame, however I filled out all the information correct according to the IRS records I have, so it is VERY disappointing that turbotax would be so blatantly WRONG about my refund. They had a month to contact me about the discrepancy, but of course they never did. I am a very displeased customer who will be using another service after this. Hopefully I can find one that is honest.
