Guess, I am not the only one who has not received their refund yet. So tired of the generic responses and seeing that nothing has changed. My return was "accepted" on 01/25/24. According to Turbo Tax I should get my refund on 02/15/24. I also elected to have my tax prep fees taken out of my refund. So I guess TurboTax doesn't get paid from my refund if there is none? Or are they going to bill me while I don't even know the status of my return? I don't even want to talk about my state return. I ended up having to mail it. So that refund probably will arrive by Christmas! Boo!

First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2023 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

If you are getting earned income credit on line 27 or additional child tax credit on line 28 You are subject to the delay required by the PATH act. Do not expect your refund earlier than late February.
Only the IRS and your State control when and if a Federal or State tax refund is Approved and Issued.
Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund
If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status - https://www.irs.gov/refunds
If accepted by the state use this TurboTax support FAQ to check the state tax refund status - https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899433-how-do-i-track-my-state-refund
After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.
See this IRS website for federal tax refund FAQ's - https://www.irs.gov/refunds/tax-season-refund-frequently-asked-questions
If you requested to have the TurboTax account fees deducted from your federal tax refund, the IRS will send the refund to a third party processor to have the fees and the service charge deducted. The third party processor will deduct the TurboTax fees plus the service charge and then attempt to direct deposit the remaining refund balance into the account that you entered on your tax return.
For the status of your tax refund you will need to contact the third party processor, Santa Barbara Tax Product Group, using their website - https://www.sbtpg.com/

Thanks!
Boo!
But thanks for giving a bit more!
Appreciated!
@jaredudeGo on irs.gov and create an account if you don’t have one. It’s going to prompt you to sign in with id me to verify identity. Once you complete that….you’ll have access to personal file and from there you can view tax record and then transcripts… under the section that says account transcripts is where you can really understand what’s going on with your refund. Now if you have dependents such as claiming Eitc/ctc then it will be delayed. Now if you notice any other codes then you’ll want to check into it if it doesn’t say credit to account as the description the major code is 846 that’s the grand code because it will have your refund release date next to it….NEVER pay attention to TT estimated refund date everyone tax situation is unique that just an estimate of the “21 days” so yes pay that no attention
