Refund status bars have disappeared for me

A friend of mine had filed the same day I had and hers got accepted a few days ago, I checked mine and noticed the bars that state the refund was received or accepted has disappeared and all it says now is "We are still processing your refund. A refund date will be provided when available"

Any one know what this means? Or having this issue as well?

You are always going to find someone else whose refund arrived faster, and someone who waited even longer than you.  That is the way it goes. Returns are not processed “first in — first out.”

TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer.

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 20 of your Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

To track your state refund:

On the IRS site you are also offered the use of an app called IRS2Go

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

I appreciate the information. This screen doesn't look like the normal screen you would receive. I was just curious if it's an audit and going to take longer than expected.

This is normal, don't worry. This simply means that your refund is being processed and when they get and updated date of disbursement they will update that information for you. Just keep checking back.

I also had the bars missing and a statement that they will give a date for refund.  Its over 21 days. I submitted my taxes on 1/29/2020.  I called the irs and was on the phone for 2 hours trying to find out what happened. I was told there was a minor issue and an irs agent was able to fix it. I was also told because of this error the processing starts all over. I have to wait another 21 days. I asked what was wrong.  The only thing that was changed was the amount of my child care credit calculation.  Turbo Tax rounded all of my numbers on my tax form.  Rounding is allowed per irs 1040 instructions for 2019 taxes.  The irs agent changed my child care credit to exact numbers from rounding. My child care credit now states 367.80.   I was told I had to now wait another 21 days to get my tax return. I am not getting my tax return on time because an irs agent didn't like the rounding.  I'm not getting my tax refund over 20 cents. Rounding is allowed.  What recourse do I have for someone not doing their job. I don't have a date for my refund on the Where's my Refund site.  My tax return was supposed to be my Earnest money for a house I was trying to buy.
